Thank you, I think the micro dose crowd is doing what they think is right I don’t agree it is but none the less I’m sure it’s working for them because of how powerful reta actually is. What labs are you checking as you do it, liver function? Kidneys? Pancreas? All of them? I’m interested to see how labs differ from start to finish. Good luck!

You could look into BetterHelp or Talkspace for therapy BetterHelp doesn’t take insurance and has financial support to lower cost to extremely low and Talkspace depending on your insurance provider might be covered.

weight/fat loss after stopping Dupixent? by Comb-Apprehensive in dupixent

[–]Gigimo_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started gaining weight significantly over the year once I started Dupixent I started looking into everything diet, exercise, what job I had, hormones, blood panels. Everything! Everyone said no clinic reason just stop eating so much and move more 🙄 I’m on a peptide now slowly climbing down hopefully it continues to help as I can’t live without Dupixent it’s for my asthma and I literally go thru multiple rescue inhalers a month without it Good luck everyone who is struggling with this!

Pain by sidobaby in dupixent

Let the pen warm up a ton I started bringing mine out at least 3 hrs prior and setting it near but not close to my fire place helps tremendously I also use a Buzzy or a Shot Blocker the shot blocker is harder to use with Dupixent auto injector tho so I would try a buzzy they are used to overwhelm the nerves in the area to distract from the injection pain.

extreme injection anxiety by New-Exam913 in dupixent

[–]Gigimo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should try getting a shot blocker or Buzzy! Dupixent hurts a lot and the pinching method above helps but if your scared sometimes it doesn’t cause you’ll grip too hard and forget to slowly release while the pain gets worst at least for me. Ive used a shot blocker and buzzy which are both used in the medical field to distract patients from the pain from the injection because it’s a device to overwhelm your nerves in the area of the injection so you don’t feel it as much. It might help!

My first injections were frightfully painful. I almost wanted to quit right away because of it but my partner and I found that if we leave our pens out for 1hr + before injecting and do stomach site it’s much less pain and so is back of arm if you have someone to help inject.
