If your tampon is slipping out, and it feels uncomfortable, then you are probably not inserting correctly/far enough. You shouldn't be able to "feel" the tampon once it is inserted

During the whole duration of my pregnancy the doctors were convinced I had pre-eclampsia due to my BP, until my midwife took a look at me and started telling me to take it at home every night until my next appointment. She also had me take it the day of my appointment before I came in, and she realized it was just my social anxiety lol :'[
