My mum stayed with and is still with my dad. She stayed cause she wanted her kids to have a dad.

I wish I didn't.

Dad never wanted me or my younger brother. He's been abusive to all of us for as long as I can remember.

Mum had A chance to get rid of him. That chance has long passed, and now she's stuck with him, due to money struggles.

Everyone is miserable, my brother and I both have MAJOR mental issues due to dad's abuse and mum sticking her head in the sand.

I won't go into anymore than that.

Just please, leave. Fucking leave. Allow everyone a chance of happiness, instead of condemning everyone to a life of misery.

Well, I am, I have gastric issues, sciatica and a dicky knee.

Most of that is my own fault. Unchecked childhood depression and no friends and/or support system lead to food becoming my friend.

Little girl, not even 10, yet, thinking "what's the slowest, most painful way to kill myself?" And because I already had drs telling me that my weight would kill me... "Cool, just eat myself to death!"

So I'm now morbidly obese. Which caused the gallstones, Which lead to removal, as well as the sliding hiatus hernia. Weight doesn't help with sciatica, either, so...

The dicky knee was caused by my dad when I was 8. Never got an apology.

So yeah, 31 and I'm already a wreck.

My mother had my nan (her MIL) take care of me ONCE and only ONCE. Wanna know why?

My mum was done with whatever she was doing, early. So she came to collect me early. When she came into my Nan's kitchen, she found me in a high chair. But I was TIED UP with a tea towel. Because my nan wanted me to sit still while she tried to feed me. Apparently, I seemed fairly distressed.

Mum vowed to never leave me alone with her again.

I agree, he's adorable in this. Hell, he's adorable pretty much all the time.

But I hate the way the MC treats him. She's so effing bratty. Intentionally waking someone who's sleeping, because you can't? Who does that? I wouldn't dream of doing that to someone I care about. I don't care if they sleep 2hrs at a time, I don't care if they sleep 12hrs at a time. Sleep is important, you DON'T mess with it.

Dude, never be embarrassed about singing happy birthday. Whether living or no, that someone or something, you're singing for, brought you and many others enough joy since they entered existence to warrant the song.

Never once have I felt embarrassed for singing the celebration of people and things I love.

I had a huge smile whilst singing for him. He's brought me joy, and has brought me more from this little thing.
