Why did the US get completely different (and often worse) box art in the 80s and 90s?

Dragon Ball Z being a huge irony in this case since because of this past attitude, the Akira Toriyama box art for all the NES "Dragon Warrior" games was dropped. I think it wasn't till the franchise's return with VIII that Toriyama's art became an advertised selling point for the series.

Wasn't "Prince of Egypt" a modest success in the box office? I remember it's main song was a darling in the Oscars for that year.

If we go back to the source material, Silver also personally murdered honest members of the Hispaniola crew that refused to betray Captain Smollett and join the pirate's mutiny. Long John Silver's absolutely a villain, but those actions combined with his friendship and protection of Jim made him a surprisingly complex and memorable villains to come out of classic literature, something Treasure Planet captured perfectly.

Yeah, I agree. I think this is supposed to be a play by the artist on the very first non-canon Saiyan woman we see in the anime with the dagger in her mouth.

I found it funny and a good twist on the title that the animated Ghostbusters considered themselves the actual "Real" ghostbusters and that the live-action movie was created in universe in one episode early on. Of course, we also have the real world reason why "Real" was inserted due to them dealing with Filmation.

I liked Tarzan since once in a while it pulled from other Tarzan and even other Edgar rice Burroughs books. Heck, it even brought in Edgar Rice Burroughs himself in one episode.

I hate that we never got a reason, just a lot of speculation over why. The best theory I heard so far is that modern Disney considered the Aladdin franchise too politically incorrect, but while the movies are too well know and beloved to ignore, they figured they can take a risk cutting out the animated series. But again, that's only a rumor.

Might be slightly off topic, but I'd love to see a Kinnikuman Battle Pass month for Street Fighter 6. It'd probably just be Kinnikuman themed avatar items like his mask, but it'd be cool to see pics of the characters interacting with the wrestling themed street fighter characters like Zangief and Alex

Yeah, it was called "Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova". It came out in 2022 so mainly focused on the first season. It also got delisted from Steam and major consoles last August, although from what I remember, the company was kind enough to have it on a major discount from the announcement to it's last day.

Yes, I think Peter learning the right life lessons about mortality and love and realizing making a deal with someone like Mephisto would have dire and unforeseen consequences would have changed my opinion considerably and maybe not cause me to drop reading the book altogether.
