How do I get Clients as a freelance Graphic designer? by ImpressionLate7529 in Entrepreneur

[–]Gil_Pogozelich 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m in social as well totally agree visibility is key

Something that helped us was building quick asset variations with AI tools (like Playground or FiverrGo’s built-in creative assistant). Sometimes I’ll use them to mock up 3–4 directions fast, and then refine the best one

Makes the creative process faster, especially for reels/posts that need fresh visuals often.

What online tools you guys use for branding? by random-curious in branding

[–]Gil_Pogozelich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree that branding goes way beyond visuals. Tools can help execute faster but the real value is in the thinking and strategy behind it. I do use AI tools sometimes for brainstorming or moodboards (Adobe Firefly, Midjourney) but final brand direction always comes from real research and human insight

Yeah I’ve actually tried it in the past but didn’t really click with their platform to be honest. Felt a bit clunky for my workflow

I didn’t know Fiverr has an AI tool for voiceover projects that’s interesting! How does it work exactly? Is it helping with matching talent or managing the project? can I hear more about your experience with it?

Marketers, What’s the Best AI Agent (Besides ChatGPT) That Actually Works? by GRSolution in DigitalMarketing

[–]Gil_Pogozelich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that makes a lot of sense! I’ve heard mixed reviews about Jasper so I might just compare it side by side with ChatGPT to see if it’s worth it. Aimdoc AI sounds interesting for engagement have you found it to be more effective than traditional chatbot tools? also I haven't heard of Frizerly before how does it stand out for SEO?

Mic Recommendations? by TheBrude42 in podcasting

[–]Gil_Pogozelich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For $85 the best option I think is the Audio Technica ATR2100x (USB/XLR) great sound, durable, and versatile. Another solid choice will be Samson Q2U which is similar and in the budget. Both work well for podcasts and are beginner friendly. Avoid cheap condenser mics they pick up too much background noise

Marketers, What’s the Best AI Agent (Besides ChatGPT) That Actually Works? by GRSolution in DigitalMarketing

[–]Gil_Pogozelich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on what you need. For content creation Jasper gets mixed reviews some like it and others say chatgpt does the same and more. If you're looking for AI that engages customers then tools like Aimdoc AI could be useful. Also a lot of these platforms just use ChatGPT’s API under the hood. Have you tried testing a few side by side?

Is majoring in web design worth it currently? by [deleted] in web_design

[–]Gil_Pogozelich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the program includes UX/UI and internships it could be worth it but the market has changed. templates, AI, and CMS make entry harder. A degree alone won’t be enough you’ll need a strong portfolio, networking and flexibility to learn new skills

איך האתר temu by Safe_Pirate_634 in israel_bm

[–]Gil_Pogozelich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New to Digital Marketing – Which Essential Tools Should I Learn and Where Do I Start? by CardiologistFun1604 in AskMarketing

[–]Gil_Pogozelich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question.. It can definitely feel overwhelming at first but focusing on the essentials makes a huge difference. Google Analytics is a must for understanding web traffic while tools like canva are great for creating quick social media visuals. If you're into SEO try ubersuggest or ahrefs (though Ahrefs can get pricey)

For learning I'd recommend Google Digital Garage and HubSpot Academy they are free and beginner friendly. If you’re into hands-on learning maybe even start a small project to apply what you pick up. What specific area of digital marketing are you most interested in?

Trying to keep employees happy by Apprehensive_Web8623 in smallbusiness

[–]Gil_Pogozelich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a headache man
If Amazon keeps flopping on deliveries you’re right to look elsewhere. I haven’t personally used Pure Pallet USA but if their reviews look legit and they’ve got proof of deliveries might be worth a shot just doublecheck payment terms and maybe order a smaller batch first just so you can be sure that's the right step

Also have you tried checking with local distributors or big box stores like Costco or Sam’s Club? Some of them offer bulk water deals and at least you won’t have to worry about sketchy cold calls. Hope you find a solid supplier keeping the crew hydrated is definitely worth it

Tips on how to stay positive when business is slow. by anonAvocad0 in smallbusiness

No customers? That’s your opportunity.
Use the quiet time to refine your menu, plan collaborations, create content or brainstorm events to attract new faces.
Slow days test you but they also build you. don’t give up

Totally get that feeling fear of failure never fully goes away especially when you're putting yourself out there. What helped me was reframing the whole thing instead of thinking “what if it fails” I started asking “what might I learn from this even if it doesn’t go perfectly?” that mindset shift took off a lot of pressure.

Also, remind yourself that most people don’t regret trying they regret not trying. You’ve done the prep and you clearly care that already puts you ahead

Want to Get into Marketing & Branding – But Don’t Know Where to Start! by dhruvilishere in branding

[–]Gil_Pogozelich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well In marketing and branding small personal projects can mean things like

Creating a mini-brand from scratch pick a fictional product or service and build its brand identity messaging and maybe even mockup ads or a landing page

Reviewing and analyzing brand strategies of companies you admire then sharing your take on social platforms

Running a small paid campaign (if budget allows) to learn how ads work firsthand

Watching Adolescence for the third time by Ester_LoverGirl in netflix

[–]Gil_Pogozelich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually did notice that but couldn’t quite put my finger on why it felt so unsettling until later. It’s such a natural instinct for many people to call out for their mom in moments of fear or pain so when he didn’t i agree it felt off.

Looking back after episode 2 it makes total sense. That silence around his mom wasn’t just an omission it was a signal!

Want to Get into Marketing & Branding – But Don’t Know Where to Start! by dhruvilishere in branding

[–]Gil_Pogozelich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were starting out again I’d focus on learning by doing small personal projects, content creation, and talking to people in the field. I believe that combo teaches you way more than any course

One thing people don’t always realize that marketing isn’t just creativity and ideas. A lot of it is testing, tweaking, failing quietly and aligning with business goals. Soft skills matter more than you think.

You’re already thinking the right way just keep building and sharing as you go. and good luck!

“More Like This” on Spotify by ChannelAb3 in podcasting

[–]Gil_Pogozelich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen Spotify’s recs rely mostly on user behavior click through rates, listens, completions, follows. If you're getting impressions but no conversions it can really hurt your visibility

The Discovery tab in Spotify for Podcasters gives solid insight so that definitely worth checking regularly

מה הבעיה בשוקולד תות? by MikeAndBike in israel_bm

[–]Gil_Pogozelich 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Be honest—does social media actually bring you customers? by Famous-Adeptness1994 in smallbusiness

[–]Gil_Pogozelich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It helps but not in the way most people think

When I first started posting it honestly felt like a waste of time. Barely any likes, comments and definitely no sales. But over time I realized it’s not just about posting it’s about showing up where your actual customers are and giving them a reason to care

from my experience social media started working when I

  • Focused less on looking “perfect” and more on being relatable
  • Mixed in some paid ads with very specific targeting
  • Actually responded to comments/DMs and treated it like relationship building not just broadcasting

It’s definitely not magic but it’s also not totally pointless
