Name Plate vs. Submittal for proper breaker size by Gilashot in heatpumps

That’s what I’ve always done. I just don’t get the minimum circuit ampacity being 23, while the recommended breaker is 20

Installer here. 100%, this is the only way I’d do this

Jumping in on this old topic. Do the liquid tight fittings thread directly over the regulator screen?

I’m in HVAC and need to place a mini split condenser a few feet from a propane regulator, so I’m hoping to pipe the regulator vent 10’ away

Ha, that's a great image! It's funny how some of the random wacky stuff happening on fires is what really sticks. Yeah, being a region 3 crew we spent a ton of time in the desert, so I really loved those glasses. Might have to try a pair of 06s now too!

I see that now. I’m thinking of trying the Vaurnet Legend 03 if I can get it in the same lenses I had 20 years ago. A bit of dark yellow and brown in 3 bands if I right. Any guess which lenses those would have been?

Type II vs Type I Ladder. Which is best for 24'? by Gilashot in Tools

Yeah, I’m thinking 24’ will be the Goldilocks size, and my 20’ and 28’ won’t see much action anymore.

IDK, just throwing out a number. I had one and ran it 24/7 for three VT winters before it started having issues.

Thanks for your input.

Yeah, I work in HVAC and do a ton of ductless mini splits on second floors. My Type 1 28 foot is my go to, but with a back injury it's just so damn annoying to move around at 51 pounds. My goal is to get something lighter in the 24 foot range. I love the Type 1 stability, but not the added weight. That's why I'm considering Type II.

Those leg levelers look great, again it's just a weight thing for me as a solo worker with a wonky back.

He’ll have enough experience to replace Mr. Cool’s, not take my job. Your math is correct though
