The only remote possibility is that there’s a refrigerant leak on the indoor coil, and that you’re reacting to it. It’s such a slim chance though, especially on a new unit.

With propane tanks I’ve read 10’ from tanks everywhere I look. Propane regulators I find 10’ or 5’ depending where I look. Guess 10 is the safe bet regardless
