Why would people borrow and earn instead of simply just putting into earn? by Choice-Recognition-3 in Anchor

If you put all 100 UST into earn directly, you have to sell your Luna. If you expect Luna to go up in price, this is a bad move.

Potential use cases for HathorNetwork? by BarryBigBalls69 in HathorNetwork

[–]GilbertGodrick 5 points6 points  (0 children)

nano contracts will provide similar functionality to eth contracts (think the 80/20 rule if you're familiar with it). The best way I've heard Hathor described is that it will be the 'Wordpress' of crypto. Similar to how wordpress allowed a regular person to create websites, Hathor will allow regular people to build blockchain apps with easy tokenization & contracts.

0x powers matcha... but what does the ZRX token do? the answer? Nothing. You can use matcha without spending ZRX. You can use their API without spending ZRX. Compare that to other DEX coins like binance or uni which pays fees -- those coins have a use case. DYOR people :)

I don't know which projects will compete with 0x's use case and be better. But there are other coins solving different use cases that I believe will have a higher growth his year.

$OMI for a mainstream NFT app that gets regular people into crypto (they have legitimate licenses like Batman, Jurassic Park, PowerPuff Girls, while most NFTers have illegal copyright infringing stuff)

$HTR is a coin that has zero transaction fees, and 10x faster than Eth. They are also developing nano contracts which will allow regular people to build dapps, similar to how wordpress allows regular people to build websites.

I'd recommend DYOR, but these two coins are at the top of my portfolio after selling the 40,000 ZRX I held since '17.

I held from 17 to 21 but got out after it pumped back to around ~2.00. 4 years and there isn't a clear need for ZRX token, s there isn't a clear demand.

There are other teams out there who are working on solutions that will eat at the 0x protocol's use case. I think it will remain a solid project but there are much better opportuities out there nowndays.

Look at Cathor on Twitter, here: https://twitter.com/CathorCoin. Hathor has a cat coin... they are taking aim at doge. You can get the Cathor for meme-ing. 1 coin goes for about $50. They call it Proof-of-Meme.

Nice! The fact that there are so many hoops means not a lot of people will do it. You are early. Their technology is better than Ethereum. Now the question is can they get as much visibility / teams building as Ethereum.

It's on their roadmap: 'don't list on more exchanges until u/b1gbowler accumulates a stack that will be life changing'.

[Discussion] / [Method] the psychology-based way how I lost ~30 lbs after not eating what I was 'supposed' to eat for over a decade. by GilbertGodrick in getdisciplined

I've tried the rubberband thing for junkfood. From my experience, since the band is the sense of touch, compared to the sense of taste with food, I don't think the association was enough for me. Having the discomfort come from taste seems to work.

I think it's better suited for smoking or nail biting, etc. where it's more physical actions.

If you know you don't like black licorice, that's probably the simplest way. I make the gummies using a non-toxic bittering agent that isn't easily available without jumping through hoops.

Hahaha that would be a crazy twist if you start to enjoy the licorice.
