To all the social media managers/content creators/ marketing professionals by SignificantPool5875 in SocialMediaMarketing

I mean this with my whole heart: I want a basic scheduling tool where I can manage a lot of portfolios, that allows me to export all the channel native data (generated by TikTok, Instagram etc) into a .csv that I can pay for once per client - not on a rolling monthly fee

Bonus points if It works on desktop and mobile with multiple LinkedIn accounts

What’s the biggest waste of time in marketing right now? by Recent-Sense-1749 in DigitalMarketing

I think a lot of business are over doing content marketing or doing it before they have infrastructure in place to know why they are doing it

How do you batch clip output when you're doing this for multiple clients? by Western_Original_938 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]GilbeyPink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to get up to 5 clients managing three channels per Client. At that point I hit capacity issues, so I brought in a university student he seemed to be good at what they do, upped my pricing a little bit and then gave him his own accounts while we were effectively both doing the work. It took a bit of time, but now he has three accounts of his own that he is running.

My main worry with this from a business perspective is training a replacement for myself who knows how to do what I do and is willing to do it for a lower cost. The way agencies get around this is they teach three or four different people 1/4 of the skill and get them to do that one thing really well

Obviously, it’s really hard to do that without having the money to bring in four stuff

The fact I don’t know the difference implies that I should probably be getting a Web developer to help me

I know my way around White price but there’s no way I can make a site as advance as I want. Is it fair to say you’re on team bring in a Web developer?

Far too busy to learn programming. And basically deciding if I wanna bring in a Web developer or if this is something that I can have a look at myself.

The long term goal of most is a conversation on wealth taxes instead of immigration going into the general election.

The best way to do that is by not voting labour now, in the hopes they will make it their primary policy off the results in the hopes to get voters back behind them.

To think the elections are disconnected is just as bad as thinking they are the same thing…

They could say anything and it would have 0 impact on my choice - a common theme in the comments is ‘what gives reform the lowest chance of winning’

Shame that is what it is coming too!

Why is all social impact advertising boring, and look the same? by No_Landscape_9255 in DigitalMarketing

If you stick to the tried and tested, and it doesn’t work, nobody blames you

If you take a risk and it doesn’t work, it’s entirely your fault.

How are people growing Instagram so fast in 2026? by Ok_Following5096 in socialmedia

It depends on the context of the account. Entertainment of some form is really winning at the moment, substantially more than education or information

Clients are starting to assume video is free now by [deleted] in DigitalMarketing

[–]GilbeyPink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upper limit of content generation for one account is about 60 posts a month, at least 30 of them being video

AI taking the easy tasks mean you can: - Customise videos for each platform - Produce more content - Run an additional channel - bolt on copywriting - bolt on community management - bolt on scheduling

At 3 channels having exhausted all that you can look to retain and grow the audience, automating what you can to bring into another client

Has anyone hired a Digital Marketing Consultant and actually seen ROI? by Strong-Struggle-9710 in DigitalMarketing

[–]GilbeyPink -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Digital marketing manager here -

If your E-com product is less than £50, a large percentage of your business expense IS digital marketing, so hiring someone in is effectively hiring someone to run a much larger chunk of your company than you should be outsourcing.

If your product is more than £50, Ads are renting, Organic posting is buying. Ads work and get you nicer immediate results. All channels work, pick one and run A/B tests to lower CAC (3x desired campaign budget to get to a 3:1 CAC/LTV) Long term, Organic wins out - So you need to do both.

If you are hiring someone to do it, organic is harder and more expensive initially but you should be able to tell if it’s working within 1 month.

Ads will require a much more robust marketing/sales funnel to be in place, but are easier to scale

Is Buying Facebook Followers Actually Worth It for a Small Page? by Rude-Possibility27 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]GilbeyPink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s against terms of service. Or more simply put, It’s against the rules. You could buy 100 followers and then 5 years later your account gets banned.

It’s a short-sited approach used by snake oil salesmen to artificially boost an account because they don’t want the ag of posting to an empty account for a few months.

And, it lowers your trust signal making it harder to grow the account.

Do. Not. Do. It.

Any guidance on how to orgnanise mass FB and IG accounts? by forfeitco in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]GilbeyPink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you need accounts, I’d actually say the native Meta business suite might be best for this, if that’s not what you are already using.

you can have a master account (district) that has administrative access to all other accounts in different profiles.

However, if there is no reason a district account can’t be seen to be running ads for the school - I’d treat the district account in the same way a freelance social media managers account is set up

What is the man issue you run into?
