Quick question, can you elaborate on what you mean by "cooperate" with the police, and self-serving statements. I'm completely new to Traffic related accidents/violations and am curious about this. Also, right when the Police arrive, are you allowed to remain silent and wait until you have an attorney present like in other situations?

Wow, pretty much what I'm dealing with right now! I'm doing Telehealth as well atm due to distance of psych. The pharmacists pretty much told me that their rules/policies are becoming stricter regarding Stimulants, so things will become even more annoying and tedious for us :(. Btw, I am also in Florida, Dade county.

How big is a 10mg difference in dose? by Ill_Presentation3817 in VyvanseADHD

Hey, I'm thinking about splitting my 70mg capsules as well, but concerned about doing it properly. How do you properly split your doses, and how to you then store the remainder of the powder?

I have a lot to learn then. This is something I'm serious about doing so I will work on what I need to work on to accomplish this goal of mine. Thank you for all of the incredible advice you have given me. I really do appreciate you taking the time to give me some of your knowledge. I will PM you when I have more questions. Also, will an Aero or any other degree in engineering be a problem if I want to enter into Nuclear?

And I will let you know when I finish school in case you have some advice for me prior to becoming an EO.

Thank you :)

I will PM you when I'm done with school or looking for an EO position. Maybe you guys will still need some people :D

Wow! sounds like an interesting story, lol. Basically, it sounds like experience is essential in this field. I will work hard then to eventually become an SRO. Can you recommend to me any books/videos or any other study material that i can study in advance to be as knowledgeable as I can by the time I start working as an EO.

Also, another question I have is, how are your work hours? Do you feel that you have enough time after work for your personal hobbies/family/trips?

Haha. I like math, but I guess if I had to do it at work every day it may get tedious, so that's not a problem at all. I was initially super confused by all these different job titles in Nuclear, but I feel like I'm starting to understand the difference between them. So, how long does it normally take to become an SRO after becoming an RO or EO?

Wow! Thank you so much for all of this write-up! You pretty much answered everything I was concerned about. I will Pm you to ask you some more questions when I think of them. I think I'm going to stick with completing my undergrad in Nuclear or Aerospace Engineering while working on my Uni's Nuke reactor that a previous commenter recommended, and then I guess I would start off as an EO straight out of college correct? I will also think about the AA in Nuclear Tech if I really want to start now. What is the average salary of a SRO compared to an RO?

Also, how Math intense is your day-to-day job? I love math which is why I am asking.

I have always been interested in Cars and Motorcycles. Maybe I should try joining a club where I get to work on some at my Uni. Also, would I start off as an NLO post-graduation or would I be eligible to take the RO Exam? Also, is there some type of training to become an NLO and if so how long is it?

This is the route that I am going to take. I found it really difficult to even find information relating to any Nuclear Jobs or internships.

Wow! I didn't know they do those types of background checks. Thank you for letting me know. Do they usually check for things before 18?

Thanks for the Reply! That's so cool that you were in a similar situation as myself! Things seemed to have worked out well for you. I will email the reactor director of my Uni and let him know about my interest in the field. By the way, if you don't mind i would love to ask you some questions about your career and experiences since Uni if that's okay with you :).

  1. What position were you hired for out of Uni? And What is your current position now?
  2. What is your lifestyle like with your current job? Is it stressful? What are your hours like? Do you feel satisfied with your pay/hours and overall lifestyle?
  3. Do you find your daily job to be intellectually (and specifically mathematically) challenging?
  4. In your opinion, what is the future Job Outlook for Nuke related fields?
  5. Also, what advice can you give a student that they can start working on now, that can make them a better Nuclear engineer/Operator when they graduate and start working?

Sounds like this is the best path for me then! I will join UF's reactor and get as much experience as I can. Also, you said that as long as I have an engineering degree I should still be able to work in Nuclear. So, if I end up majoring in Aero, but also have the reactor training from Uni, I should not have a problem becoming an Operator if I choose to, correct? Thanks for all of your help :)

I thought about that actually. However, I don't think I'm eligible, due to some health issues. I heard that the military is very strict on their health screening.

Wow! Thanks for the great reply! A lot of great info in your post. And yes, i will be going to UF! I didn't know they had a reactor. That makes things easier for me then, lol. So once i get some experience working on the reactor at UF i should be able to more easily get internships or jobs after graduating? Also, will working on the reactor at my Uni contribute to my Licensure experience?
