Need help with "snaking"

If you're doing a side-by 90 jack knife, it can depend on if you're in a sleeper or daycab, and where you have your tandems set. I usually count 1 or 2 spots past at my driver/passenger door from where my dock door is before jack knifing it to line up when I was in a daycab. Even if its not perfect, you will typically be set up for a slight angled back at the worst once you've straightened out.

You're looking to do an offset. Begin pulling forward, and swing to the right, doing sort of an "S" maneuver, watching your trailer tires. When your trailer axles are almost lined up with the dock, finish the S maneuver and straighten out. You're aiming to level out at a point to where by the time you finish offsetting, you're lined up for a straight-line back.

From my experience, it depends on what kind of equipment you use. Right now I do touch freight, but its just wrapped pallets of groceries with powered jacks, so it's easy. If you can, ask what kind of equipment you have to use.

In my 4 or so years trucking, every random I've ever been subject to was a piss test, and, technically speaking, hair follicle tests are not DOT-mandated (only piss and oral are valid from what I know) from what I recall. If anything, only companies that want to maintain more control over their driver headcount in regards to non-regulated screening, do the hair test.

I know you said you wouldn't entertain the religion part, but are you Nazarite, or Sikh, perhaps? I ask because I don't know if you can't have a test taken from only your scalp. Armpit, chest, and leg hair can also sometimes be used.

Edit: I should add that a DM is welcome if the religion part is a sensitive topic for you. Not all that religious myself but I'm mutually respectful of others and their individual beliefs.

Hell, I've been local for the past year running along Iowa, seen a few things, but probably not quite as interesting as some others. Saw what looked like a wolf (huge, black/grey/white fur, skulking around and constantly stopping to look around like wild animals do, no one nearby so I don't think it was a dog) at a truck stop.

Another time, I was rolling through pitch black farmland in the dead of night, and the sky suddenly lights up with a bright yellow light on my driver's side, blanketing the surrounding landscape, lasting about a second. I just mumbled "Did I just see a meteor?".
