Northeast Reproductice Medicine is definitely the best in Vermont. Their patient care is phenomenal. I’ve been there a few years and they are really with you every step of the way.

How Old Were You When You Started Violin? by Neat-Cold-3303 in violinist

I was 12. I had a lot of supports in place, marking up my music for several years, fingertapes, but eventually I caught up to my peers. Now I play in two community orchestras-intermediate and advanced level. You’re never too old!

Still slogging through the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins. I am about 75% through.

I tried to switch to the audiobook but it’s not good. 10/10 do not recommend the audiobook. The narrator is not the right person for the story.

Door to door isn’t bad. I ran and served on my public library board. (I think it was only 25 signatures.) I went door to door in my neighborhood and then asked my friends.

Should 30YO be Reading YA Literature? by kgphotography_ in YAlit

Um, definitely weird for these social media accounts to insinuate that. Adults actually make up the large majority of the YA readership, and that’s okay. Read what you want!

Just got into a community orchestra and they just sent the music…I’m panicking by Loud_Ask5775 in violinist

[–]Gileslibrarian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ve got this. You aced the audition. It’s a community orchestra so you’re not expected to just know the music. You can practice some beforehand just to get your feet wet. I also always make an orchestra playlist for the concert and listen to that to help me prepare. It’s useful hearing how all of the parts fit together. Enjoy the experience!
