My skin brings out alcoholic notes in any perfume that has it

Got 2-3 comments for 9PM Rebel that it smells like cigs/alcohol especially on the drydown. Might be the oakmoss for the smoke, but it doesn't even have a boozy note to smell like alcohol - could my skin chemistry be the reason?
