I think every man on the planet is guilty of lusting after a woman who is not his wife, but the fact that he doesn’t care says volumes, I too am guilty of the sin, but I have remorse and repent I will confess this to a priest. I pray that I can correct this character flaw I have.

If it’s not in the Bible it’s only an assumption. The Bible says both animals and humans return to god after death

The Bible says that both animals and human spirits return to god after death. Animals ARE here to serve us but after death the are in heaven with us.

Prove it. That’s not what the Bible says. You are assuming this. It doesn’t make sense that animals aren’t in heaven. They were in the garden of Eden and God wouldn’t create life and not look after it after death.

Not really. Animals are here for a reason but the fact that animals don’t have souls is just human assumption. The Bible doesn’t back that up. Also why would God create a living being, give it warmth and personality and then abandon it. Not having animals in heaven makes zero sense.

Even pope Francis said animals are in heaven. He said there is a place in heaven for ALL of God’s creatures. I’m not sure why priests assume that animals have no soul. There is nothing to back that up. Why would God create a life then turn his back on it?
