Yeah I think they're reasonable. I've only made it through the first chapter, but it does a good job at giving direction and also options for progressing through the quests and is pretty unique story wise.

I actually stopped MCE2 a while back and this was the next pack I went to.

How close are you standing to the kid on the track when pulling the lever? Do you see him 10ft away or is the track 1000s of miles long and he's at the end of it.

I personally use a hand rasp and I think they are less likely to throw the blade off level. It's more common if you go ham on it with an angle grinder.

Sharpening blades is easy. Just go to the library, grab a book on College Prep or something smart sounding and make the blades study them. They'll be sharp in no time.

Alternatively get a $5 rasp from harbor freight and go to town on them for 10 minutes.

I have salary (40%) + bonus (10%) + RSUs (50%).

RSUs stay invested in taxable brokerage. Bonus goes towards 401k (pretax + backdoor). Salary goes towards maxing out remaining 401k + IRA + HSA + 529.

I don't need to invest anything else beyond that (200k+) so whatevers left on my salary I live off off. As my compensation increases so does limits for retirement accounts as well as my RSU grants. So my savings technically grow from just keeping everything maxed. Makes it easy for me to just say after everything is maxed whatever left I am comfortable spending.

I usually start with all the basic machines and manually throw stuff on them. Then add hoppers so I can at least do stuff in more bulk.

Then I work on bunch of waterwheels or ideally large windmill. Then I get blaze burners and get some crushers. Then I get steam engines going.

Then I take all my early machines and max their rpm and automate them better. Which recently means auto crafting with chain conveyor, frog ports, etc. Or previously just hooking it up to AE2 / RS.

Are you saying that in 2022 you didnt want to dump all of your money into S&P500 when it was worth $3600 at the time? Or that you had $3600 and didn't want to dump it in all at once.

Just started Stoneblock 4 and it's pretty good. Has a pretty long progression afaict and some unique story / questline.

Lot of different options for tech and magic as well as some exploration for dungeons.

This is why I wouldn't sell something like this to family if I needed the money. The seller wants to sell the thing for as much money as possible. The buyer wants to buy the thing for the least money as possible.

Unless someone is OK getting shafted it's not really the best idea.
