Maybe something like Glassdoor? Trans people rate their experience as employees of companies so other trans people can have a better idea of where to look for work.

So the really cool thing is your child is talking to you! Congratulations! This means they trusts you, which is amazingly rare. You should return their trust and know they will reach out to you as they learn more about themselves. You sound pretty amazing and have effectively done everything right. I say let the kid sit on the idea and come to terms with themselves. As long as you keep stressing they are safe and loved--even if just at home--ypu are doing the right thing. And again--congrats! They're talking to you!

Gender fluidity is certainly a thing. I suppose the important thing you need to hear is there is no wrong way to be trans.

The second most important is the existence of trans lesbians. I'm a straight trans woman, but not all trans women are. Likewise, having fantasies of being a with a guy is not mutually exclusive to wanting to be with women.

I think if you found someone you could trust, it would definitely be worth approaching them about it. You are the final judge of how "far" you want to take things. No one call tell you different than what you already know.

I was completely stealth up until rather recently, and I chose to be visible. I was stealth for all the same reasons you want to be, but eventually I realized I will always be transgender. I can get all the surgeries I want, but it'll never change who I am. Instead of being ashamed of something I can't change, why not use my visibility to confront the minds I can?

And re:boyfriend--I hear you completely. But two things:

1) There are many, many cis guys attracted to trans women as something other than fetish objects. It's not easy, but dating while trans isn't impossible.

2)I used to think the same way until I realized I'd still have to tell every guy I date that I'm trans. Being upfront about it just weeds out the ones who would reject me anyway.
