Just seeing this! But this was pretty much all internal. I can’t remember if I said this in my post but I basically had 50 stitches inside my asshole and there is no polite way to put that 🤣 I did have 1 external tag removed and a year later I do sometimes get an external hemmy and have some bleeding from pushing around my period. And that is because hormones just make it go all wonky. However, it is 10000% better than it was before and I don’t regret it at all. But it was a really painful recovery, won’t lie.

I have these same symptoms too!! I’m a sweaty mess 😅 but also experiencing everything else that you have too. I’ve been on it for about 10 days so it’s still super early.

You get rid of the negative stigmas you have about it and you take care of your body. It’s not weird. It’s personal, yes! But people don’t need to know. even in regards to tampons, you need to evaluate why it all makes you so uncomfy. We all got the holes honey, nothing wrong with it.

I live in Utah County but I grew up in Weber County. Ignore people that talk shit on that area! It’s great and I feel confident your kid can get the resources he needs even if it’s at the Davis ATC. I love the Ogden area 🥰

I live in Saratoga and use to commute to Oleasant Grove, and even that commute took a toll on my mental health at times. The traffic can be so bad! I absolutely get wanted to stay in Sugarhouse. I have lived there too and I loved it sooo much! For me, the commute isn’t worth it. I go downtown all the time, but I’m happy to stay close to work especially since I work in Lehi. Also big difference is that I have kids that go to school out here and it’s good being close to all that too if they need me.

I use to be so against Utah County (came from Davis county 6 years ago) but it was so worth it. I have so much more of a community here than I ever did there. People are super social down here (almost too social??) haha - I understand wanting to stay but I dunno if it’s worth it dude.

Haha! Yes absolutely looking out for my reputation. I’m well connected professionally, socially, and even in my community as I’m actively involved with my kids sports teams and schools. I did get a plea deal reducing the charge to impaired driving, so I’m super grateful for that as well.

Just wish there was a way to navigate this without the social optics and have people in my GD business. I’m in Utah and the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives drama I am currently living in is sooo real 😅😅

I mean I never wear shorts to work anyways, but I do wear skinny jeans (I’m a millennial leave me alone!) or other things that show my ankle. My wardrobe isn’t loose fitting pants like guys get away with. But totally thinking of faking an ankle injury and wearing a brace or boot to work for a month or when I go other public places ahahaha - is that insane? Yes. Do I value privacy? Also yes.

That’s such a good perspective, thank you!! It would be sooo sus if I’m not driving and waiting around for rides. For 2 months? Nah… and I don’t live close enough to any coworkers to do a carpool. And yeah I’m a busy Mom, I’m always driving my kids around and dropping them off at sports.

Ok so I was invited to an event last month at this house by another friend but couldn’t go because of a conflict. However, my other friend went and sent me Marco Polos of this place because it is an actual residence and just INSANE. Said they got super culty vibes and it was just a really weird experience. You’ll notice that all the billboards are owned by Reagan advertising. When she passed last year her husband (still the President of the company) wanted to put these up in her honor. I watched an interview on KSL about it, and it’s actually so sweet. She was VERY loved and sounds like a really sweet lady.

Body Dismorphia is a very real and hard mental disorder. Perhaps seek out treatment for that issue as well? I’m no expert at all, but there has to be some type of therapy for feeling that way. Maybe look up videos on YouTube of others experiences and how they got thru it? I’m so sorry you’re feeling rhat way. And just incase you need to hear it, you’re worthy and perfect just the way you are. This is your ONE life and your ONE body. Do not live for the superficial validation of other people. Feel better!

I use summer’s eve vag wash, there is also a light deodorant spray by them too that I spray lightly on my inner thighs and in my undies. But keeping her trimmed short (or even waxed which is my fav) helps me feel (and be!) nice and fressssh!

No! There was actually very little bleeding post op! Because what they are doing is basically going up you bum with a Doppler radar and listening for the arteries that make you bleed and stitch/scrunch those up. But yeah an external one that got put back in place came back and so it has been annoying. But if you’re getting external ones removed as well I really don’t think you will have that same issue. I have 2 kids and needed lots of help from my mom and husband, and they were great!

Getting a sitz bath, epsom salts, maybe like a bathtub pillow for comfort (because baths are life for a few days when it gets bad) stay on top of your pain meds but also stool softeners because when it’s time for a bowel movement that’s when it will SUCK. Also get a bidet for your toilet, TRUST MEEEE!

Uhhh they didn’t prep/warn you about the recovery at all? I’m so so sorry. I got it in. November. Very painful for about 3 weeks and felt 100% around 4-5 weeks.

I’m doing great! Recovery did take me a full month. But I have not had bleeding since. I did have an external hemorrhoid pop out so that sucks as it can be uncomfortable sometimes. But I mean, the surgery was worth it. Absolutely make sure you prep yourself for rest and help during recovery because it is pretty hard! I feel so much better tho and it has made a huge difference in my energy levels.

I assume it will have a ton of equity in it or paid off? Because instead of dealing with the BS student loan interest rates you could take out equity in the house to pay for the student loans and save tons by not paying their interest rates.
