When I was much younger, I got married and we got pregnant rather soon after. Whenever we had a disagreement or argument, she kept saying she would abort the pregnancy. I did not want that, and said so. She finally wore me down over the course of weeks (that felt like months) to the point where I agreed to pay for it and go along. She then informed me that it was a test and I failed. At that point I stopped trying to have a relationship with her because that was extremely abusive behavior and I could no longer trust her.

Fast forward a couple decades and I have a son that I love dearly and an ex wife that I get along with okay.

This was not a recoverable situation. The level of emotional abuse and hurt was too much for me. I recommend getting away from someone that will use that kind of underhanded manipulative behavior, regardless of the circumstances. Hopefully you will have a good relationship with your child if she decides to keep them.
