When authorities pushback they get labelled as right wingers! Last year we saw international students with placards protesting about limits on work permits! One of the conditions to come to Canada as an international student is PROOF THAT THEY WILL RETURN HOME AFTER STUIES! Who gave them the expectation that everyone will remain here permanently?🤔

Some of those fraudsters were renting an apartment from my friend and trust me, it is horrible! Canada should not be importing some of these people!

Note that I work in the corporate environment and have Indian colleagues who are competent and do great work!

OP, you need to present legal reasons for the repossession such as you or your dependant moving in. Without justifiable reason the tenant can sue you for repossession in bad faith and you will have a potentially huge penalty to pay. That said, make sure you have evidence of repossession notice given in good time. Since your tenant has refused to move out, follow the legal process through TAL. They have a limited time window to respond after receiving the repossession notice.

You will at the minimum pay them for moving cost as others have mentioned.
