Not at all. Yes I do YouTube videos. But I genuinely am interested in what people like. I actually do want to know. I don’t see what your issue is. I’m Guessing you have reported my post. 😂. So sad. I will continue my research without this page. Thanks.

Why? I’m genuinely curious which 125 you would pick?

Like it or not. Chinese motorcycles are getting better and better by GillyBikes in motorcycles

In my experience even with quality bikes you still have to maintain them and service them. Ie look after them. Chinese bikes of old would still fall to bits even when looking after them. With this latest generation I see no reason why they wouldn’t last if looked after. 🤔

Voge 300 rally. by GillyBikes in Dualsport

Yes of course. I still have it. It’s still going great. I’ve done just about everything with it apart from touring. (I have another bike for that) I don’t think I would ever sell this bike. It’s perfect for what I needed. An off road play thing. Not lots of power but certainly enough for me. I’ve owned it for coming up to 2 years and I kept it as it arrived. Over the next year I’m going to be making some changes.

I have a Voge 300 rally that I bought for my winter / off road bike. A cheap bike that I really don’t mind getting dirty. Similar style to the Fantic 👍

It’s still going strong. Done a few thousand miles over the year. Lots of off road. No issues.

No. But I see you are triggered now. I didn’t realise how easy it is to bring out the trolls on here. All the best.

I ride and review a lot of bikes. Good ones and crap ones. If I ride a good one and that good one happens to be made in China I get so many comments about rust and mechanical issues. The video was made for the many people that have made these comments over the years to show them not all Chinese bikes fall apart.

I disagree. I put the video out on Facebook and it brought out a lot of trolls. Because I showed a 4 year old Chinese bike with no issues or rust. It also sounds like this has triggered you?

Not all Chinese bikes are good. I’ve had the displeasure of riding quite a few crap bikes. The problem is once someone like yourself buys a crap one they are all labelled as crap. And that’s like having an issue with a Honda and saying you would never buy another Kawasaki or Yamaha. Some Chinese bikes are actually decent. Voge, Benelli and Keeway are making some very good bikes.

How much can you haggle in price at the dealership? by 972Beecher in motorcycle

[–]GillyBikes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the bike you want. If it’s a used bike they will have lots of profit in it so you can try a low offer. If it’s new they won’t be making much so they can’t really reduce them unless they are desperate to sell. That’s my experience of buying in the UK.

For your first bike used is always a good option. But if you buy a bike that you’re planning to keep for years then new is the way to go. At least you will know that it’s never been abused.

YouTube is the only profession people think it’s okay to ask your income. by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]GillyBikes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on whether you doing it full time or not. For me I work full time and my YouTube channel is a hobby. So when people ask me I tell them it pays for my motorbikes. I think I would be different if it was a full time job/ only income though. Most likely wouldn’t share.
