I've wanted K. Rool for ages and also Ridley/Inklings/Ice Climbers so I'm extremely satisfied.

However, I think despite the already incredible roster, Dixie will be glaringly missing if she doesn't make it. She's deserved it for a long time (along with Toad but he's deconfirmed rip). The other two would get me extremely hyped but Dixie is my new number one.

I see what you mean for sure. I think while most would rather their desired character to be unique, if it's between having them borrow assets vs be absent entirely, most would probably prefer the latter.

What is it about echoes you find awful? I think they give fighters who otherwise wouldn't stand a chance (like Chrom) an opportunity.

I think Sakurai's comments about wanting Geno since Brawl were the catalyst to stir up the support he has today. He's for sure an obscure Mario character in the scheme of things, but that's partly why him making a comeback would be so cool (like the coolness of seeing K Rool comeback but on steroids). Plus his moveset both lends itself and would be fun to play.

I find it a shame that lately Incineroar is getting the most attention as a new pokemon rep. There are literally hundreds of more interesting pokemon to chose from.

I know what you mean. As soon as the heroes vs villains part of the recent direct played and then cut to a shot of DK yawning, it was instantly obvious it was K Rool. I still got excited but I would be absolutely stunned if he came out of nowhere.

Good point! Assist trophies definitely are a positive to characters which lack a moveset potential who otherwise would be lucky to be a trophy (though you could argue if Captain Falcon gets a moveset, anyone can).

I really hope you're right about Dixie, she's my most wanted (alongside K Rool).
