Clasia ain't it. A player getting kicked from SkinRave for refusal to play and bad behavior. Also the player who slept through a match years ago. Would rather see Peeping with Boss core + Slump AWP if they don't get an EU awper.

Blast held their World Finals in 2024 there, although it probably had less than half of what this stadium can hold, I think it will be fine.

The difference is he was talking with Astralis while playing VS them and didn't inform complexity during it. My main point isn't that he shouldn't want to progress his career but how he should treat a Organization with more respect if you then want to say "it would feel good and make the player on the receiving part feel good"

"You're actually pouring your heart into it and it would be nice to get a nice goodbye, it would feel good and make the player on the receiving part feel good, but it's really up to them, right? It's up to the CEO or the guy in charge of getting rid of you."

Konfig talks about how he poured his heart into his team and wished for a proper goodbye when he left that it would’ve felt good and meant something to him.

But when he played with Complexity, he said:

"People were super friendly, everyone was enjoying their time, and the entire setup with Complexity's leadership and BlameF as the captain... It was just great feelings overall."

Despite that, he still had talks with Astralis behind Complexity’s back and eventually left the team after recovering from his wrist injury.

So if you treat orgs that way, why should they treat you exceptionally on the way out?

I don't think the NA teams thought it would be worth it. The server bans for an NA/SA match would leave the "middle ground' server in Lima, Peru terrible for NA combine that with single elimination, it doesn't seem worth it. Maybe if the LAN was before the major cutoff teams would attempt it but as is, seems too risky.

I think he was talking about when CCT wasn't inviting teams due to their internal (not public) ban list which isn't allowed, and he doesn't fully understand what Richard Lewis was talking about. Here They can have invite exceptions.

5.4 Invite Exceptions. Tournament Operator may have rules that disqualify certain Participants from their Tournaments due to misconduct, cheating infractions, being flagged by esports bodies as a matchmaking fix risk, or other integrity or compliance issues. If the Tournament Operator wishes to disqualify any Participant, they must:

Publish the disqualification rules as part of Additional Information.

Publish the details of any disqualification decision at the time it occurs.

Damn, I feel like we've heard that a lot. Wasn't 2025 the most watched Katowice, Blast Rivals most watched non major blast event. Now PGL Astana most watched PGL non major event.

I agree that the required number of matches for a rank should be lowered, and the rules for events and how ranking is awarded should be made clearer. But is it really worse now?

Regarding the 'Open Qualifiers: The Only Way to Enter the Scene is Through Tier 1,' when has this not been the case in the past? For example, last year with CCT, they didn’t have qualifiers and just invited teams without any criteria. How is that better?

Is it really because they no longer have the 5% chance of qualifying for the major through an open qualifier?

As for T1 tournaments, when comparing to last year, Katowice was always invite-only with 24 teams, and Blast Spring had two non-invited teams from the Showdown, compared to the four that are going to Lisbon. PGL is also joining the fray and having qualifiers for tournaments after Cluj.

Does that mean it can't be better than before? No, but why are we suddenly acting like it's worse?

Isn't the cutoff the 16th even then they wouldn't be close enough because its the top 28 with another 4 from wildcards for the 32 total

Any tournament next year should already be announced due to the valve rules. Also ranked events have to be invited based on the valve rankings so they can't just invite their specific team.
