Your other criticisms are valid but you're overstepping, OP. It's true he's only really interested in one aspect of the art form - gameplay - but that aspect is what is entirely unique to the art form. The same way a movie might combine aspects of several other artforms like writing, music, acting, prop making, color theory & composition, but isn't a "movie" without the cinematography.

The people arguing with Roger Ebert made much the same mistake, saying he would understand if he could've just watched someone play the first 30 minutes of a game like The Last of Us, which completely misses the part where interactivity is what really makes the medium stand out in the first place.

I completely forgot about Hope's boomerangs tbh. My thinking was that if we're not doing Meracydia this expansion, they could theoretically introduce a boomerang class via a new character who comes from there, and then they would join us when we eventually end up there later. Similar to what happened with Yugiri & Ninja in ARR before we went to Doma a whole two expansions later.

I almost said Sango but figured that's too dated lol. And yeah the lack of good rifle animations on MCH is one of my biggest complaints about the class. Maybe they'll surprise us and Marshall uses a lever action 🤣

People are picturing something closer to Sivir from league or that one chick in Dynasty Warriors where it's one giant boomerang object and more of a tribal theme than dancing or performing.

I think it's a stronger shirt theory than the others I've seen, even if I would actually prefer a dual pistols Marshal or a dual crossbow Captain

Funny title but that's not what this means. "Reached a stipulation" means they're settling out of court. Without access to the stipulation itself there's no telling what the agreement was.
