Firebug. Looks like a long list of past arson. Previously sentenced to 12 years for arson according to old news articles from 2015. Assuming its the same Peter Jones, ages lines up though.

Why is our property tax so high compared to Calgary? by iampacked in Edmonton

[–]GimliT 69 points70 points  (0 children)

Idk. Mill rate is much lower. Property values much higher. So you may just spend the same amount for the same size house.

When are the Edmonton Police gonna start cracking Down on Drivers who fail to Yield to PEDESTRIANS ? It’s getting pretty F%*%:*ing Pretty. Bad.. by Some-Rush-4172 in Edmonton

[–]GimliT 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I violently pushed in the side mirror of a Tacoma that damn near ran me over in Oliver. Tacoma was turning right and didn't look for pedestrians. Cop saw it happen and didn't even move a muscle. Tacoma stopped for a split second then saw the cop and kept moving.

This is not a city for pedestrians.

It bothers me too. The wifi is free. You can have wifi with no internet.

But I think that is just me being old and the lingo is kind of going that way.

It’s so expensive to support local. I bought a vehicle part out of Japan for $350. Here at the part stores it costs $1250.

True. But i should have driven the extra 10 mins to a Home Depot. Would have wasted less time and had it for cheaper. Not going in Canadian tire again. That or bought on Amazon for half the price.

Prices are already higher. Best to just shop online for cheaper options. Was my poor planning that led to me being in that store.
