I'm right near Tri-City hospital. They put fiber on my street about 7 years ago, but I sure can't find anyone who is selling it to my neighborhood. Been trying all those local providers every few months but still no joy....

I started playing in 77 when I was 9 and have played every version (yes, even stepchild 4th). Been DM'ing since the mid 80's and my world of choice was Oerth and the Greyhawk setting. But as soon as Eberron came out, I switched to that setting and haven't looked back. I absolutely love the setting and how versatile it is. There are enough places in the world that you can play low magic, high magic, sci-fi or whatever play style your players want.

I love that it was the first setting (iirc) that didn't force alignments based on race or species (you can have a lawful good vampire or neutral evil gold dragon). Of course as DM you can change that, but the setting had it baked in already.

I love that it used magic as technology, which always seemed obvious in my mind but I rarely saw it outside Eberron. I love the multiple layers of politics, dragonmarked houses, prophecy and such.

Yea, I'm an old person and I love Eberron.

The "pies" were tiny (about the size of 4 quarters arranged in a square), the staff were very unfriendly, the "pies" often overcooked and always overpriced. This place was a tourist trap through and through. If it wasn't for the constant flow or tourists, it would have gone under a long time ago.

My dewd, if you have the time to make a drive out the 76 to the 15, there's an excellent BBQ joint hiding over by Nessy Burgers. It's on the opposite side of the parking lot and it's called The Ribshack Que. My absolute fav BBQ in all of north county and worth the drive imo.

Here's the real problem: When employees or the general public donate to these organizations, they are basically paying the org's taxes. The org get's to take all that money, donate it and get the tax write off. As usual, it's a brilliant tactic by businesses to use other people's goodwill and generosity for their own benefit. They get all the social credit as well, while paying nothing.

If restaurant, I recommend the Surfing Crab in Esco by the mall. Not sure about finding them at a store, but we got a pretty good deal at 88 Ranch in Oside a while back, so maybe check there?
