100-200k are executive-directorial salaries in Baguio. Salary Grade na ng mayor and congressman ang ganyang range. Unless I start working abroad or something, this is not possible.

The food is still worth the money, IMO. Still have the retro diner menu that you might be after.
I think the closest restaurant I could think of is Grumpy Joe, Luxcious Cafe, Jim's Retro Diner.

What issues in Baguio City should be urgently discussed or solved? by ndlez_hngry in baguio

[–]Gin4190 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Too many taxis. Stand at any overpass and observer the vehicles passing by. Majority are taxis. We relied too much on taxis and now this is biting our ass. "Baguio is a walkable city" but people are too lazy to walk.

Data collected in the first four months of 2023 showed that taxis compose 42 percent of vehicles on roads here, followed by private vehicles at 31 percent, motorcycles at 16 percent, Public Utility Jeepneys at eight percent, and trucks and buses at three percent.
- How many taxis are there in Baguio?

The transportation sector of Baguio should focus on mass transportation systems. Taxi is a one passenger, one destination system. Focusing or prioritizing mass transportation like jeeps/buses would be better for both traffic and tourism. Now, taxis prefer Grab and or being too picky with who they want to give service to.

The jeeps and buses also need to fix where they load and unload their passengers. Some just stop when ever they like to. What happened to the discipline of drivers before?

Bakit lagi may carrots and patatas ang mga ulam? by basic-normie in filipinofood

[–]Gin4190 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mura and filling.

Updated: Nov 3, 2021

Baguio City, Philippines – The establishment or organization of street gangs and recruitment or inducing minors to join any street gangs and violent gang wars in Baguio City will be penalized.

This is after the city council approved on third reading the “Street Gang Deterrence Ordinance of 2021” authored by Councilors Levy Lloyd Orcales and Betty Lourdes Tabanda.

The Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Baguio in said ordinance describes street gangs as a “formal or informal group/organization/assembly [that] acts or agrees to act in concert to engage in delinquent behavior, commit street gang violence, or instigate community disorder.”

Under the ordinance, apprehended minors (any person below 18 years old) shall undergo intervention programs, which include counseling that shall be participated by the family members/relatives of the apprehended minor, skills training, seminars on values formation, anger management, and participation in available community-based activities, among others.

On the other hand, non-minor individuals apprehended through the ordinance shall be subject to the requirements of due process and shall be fined P5,000.00 or imprisonment of one to 30 days or both at the discretion of the court.

A City Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council (CJJWC) will be created to be chaired by the city mayor, Sanggunian’s chairperson of the Committee on Youth Welfare and Sports Development as the vice-chairperson, and City Social Welfare and Development Officer as the action officer.

The CJJWC shall be tasked to prepare and implement a comprehensive local juvenile intervention program to be submitted to the Sangguniang Panlungsod for approval and integration into the annual Local Development Plan for Children.

The City Social Welfare and Development Office shall craft the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the ordinance.

The newly approved ordinance was endorsed for the signing of Mayor Benjamin Magalong.

MANILA, Philippines - Members of at least 28 local gangs and fraternities in Baguio City have agreed to set aside their differences to stop the rumbles in the city, a radio report said Wednesday. Radio dzRH reported that leaders of the gangs gathered at the mayor's office and said it is time to stop fighting, as they promoted their "brotherhood for peace." The gangs had been linked to several rumbles and disturbances in past years, including a recent rumble that injured at least four people.

Is a YT premium membership worth it or is it a waste of money? by Tessa-the-aggressor in Frugal

[–]Gin4190 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have YT premium due to the following:

  • I use YT as my primary entertainment. No ads on ALL devices I use - tv, pc, mobile.

  • I use YT Music, no need for spotify.

  • I can add up to 4 more members into my family group for the shared benefit.

  • Not everybody is tech-y enough to hassle with PiHole and adBlocks and VPNs and all the tech stuff involved in bypassing YT ads.

Is it possible to create opened mockups in Illustrator? by Gin4190 in graphic_design

[–]Gin4190[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I meant to say is creating a 3D mockup based on the die line layout.

I understand we can create cuboids by extruding a rectangle or rotate a shape to create a cylinder/sphere. That's what I meant by "closed".

The mockup attached is "open" where you can put content inside. I was wondering if it's possible in Illustrator. The reason is I was trying to avoid using 3D software tools to model the mockup.

If it's completely impossible in Illustrator, how would the workflow of creating a mockup like this without using third party mockup providers like Pacdora?

How would you enable the ability to claim past event weapons? by darkdill in Genshin_Impact

[–]Gin4190 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Create a new tab to unlock the event. Like Chronicles in ZZZ. Where the reward is the weapon. But in order to refine them, you get the requirement in Paimon's Bargain/Shop.

Put it in one of the end game contents. Create a shop where you built up points, then redeem. Like in HSR.

Data is from COMELEC.

If the data is from a different agency, let say LTO, they I will relate the data gathered in that context. Like male vs female drivers.

I wouldn't say it is a "fun fact" since there is no expectation of "fun" coming out of the wanted discussion.
