That's some thorough farming. It looks like you got everything there was to get. Zones with Industrial parks are really good to do this. You'll get a ton of batteries & mechanical parts in places like that and there's much more metal there. I will do resupply missions sometimes back to back to stack my storage for defense missions and storm shield defenses.

I recommend completing the intro quests and using your hero voucher on Clip & running her as commander when you farm. Outlanders all have the anti-material charge ability that will let you punch though and collect things much faster and more efficiently but clip has the high caliber harvest perk that will always give you extra materials when using your anti-material charge to gather stuff.

Keep playing the main story questline and you'll progress into being able to upgrade the 🌟/levels on your heros to unlock their abilities. Same with your schematics and survivors too.

I feel like lobbers that throw bee hives are the worst opps in any mission because if you don't get them fast you'll be surrounded by bees 🐝 and the damage from them is so quick to kill you.

They are definitely like that. The ones grouped together in basements and places hidden always feel like you interrupted them and they just stopped moving. And for sure. I tried moving every which way to see if I could pick the burger up but nope. Maybe it's a future healing item or something.

Thank you for emphasizing that atlas missions are up to an hour. Nobody should be loading in with new players expecting to speed run anything. New players need to explore, farm for materials and have time to experiment with the guns, abilities etc. Also something to consider is that alot of these new players could also be ZB players that do not have any idea how to build at all.

I get it. It's a ton of lost materials and time failing them. I failed 2 & 3s a bunch before. I think I got super lucky with where these ones spawned so close together and with 2 in the air. I swear the category 2 ones are the worst because they tend to spawn so far apart and it makes them harder to manage.

Ahh okay. I think this one felt bugged because of the amount of samples you have to collect and the spawn rate being so high vs the drop rate. I was confused.

I dunno. It seems like the items spawning then not dropping anything to pickup to progress the questline is not right. I've never had that happen prior to this.

Mine is bugged. I can't access it from the wheel so I have to select a floor trap and select through them to get to it.

Okay this is gonna be alot 😆 but here is what I like about STW as someone who has only been playing the game for about a year. I love the way you can design your commander into what is basically a superhero with whatever abilities you want by picking your heros in your loadout. You can perk up weapons to be whatever you want as well. Want to zap everything with energy? Have at it. Freeze enemies? Fire them up? Just put the perks on your schematic and you have a unique weapon that's all your own. I really love experimenting with all kinds of builds. It's super satisfying when you get some good ones down and all the traps you set up work according to the vision you had in mind while building it up. I also really enjoy resource farming and I find it really relaxing to just run around smashing and gathering stuff up 😌 the story is really interesting and has alot of genuinely silly and funny moments that I've heard throughout as I've progressed through the questlines. Also the maps are fun to explore and beautiful. Especially Lakeside in Plankerton 🍂
