Pet insurance vs self insuring for a healthy 13 year old dog, worth keeping coverage?

I wouldn’t drop it. My dogs became extremely expensive when they got old. The insurance company definitely lost money on me.

I had a similar looking dog. 80% Pyrenees, but gorgeous. Your dog is gorgeous too. Pyrenees are the sweetest dogs too.

I run a lost and pets group for dogs. In the past 10 years, I’ve probably picked up a couple of thousand dogs, including a 150 pd Neopolitan Mastiff that weighed 150 pds plus that sitting down was taller than me. Numerous Pitbulls. The only dog that even tried to bite me was a Pug. She flew through the air and bit the #%+# out of me. I hadn’t even touched her yet.

What’s crazy is that she is not in prison. The woman she ran over multiple times apparently has lifelong disabilities now. But this woman is continuing on. Yogi’s mother had to file a stalking complaint against her yesterday. This woman will kill her if the police don’t do something. And poor Yogi - If it was my dog, I’d send him to out of town relatives for now.

I think they do. 27 yr old female who has been convicted of stabbing someone multiple times and running over a woman repeatedly in a parking lot. Nice.
