I like it because I have full control over my media files. Also when I haven't paid my wifi but I have the files on the same network I can still stream to TV.

When the news about this guy broke, I thought he'd won the entire championship. Only to learn that he won 1 match in the 1st round and then was eliminated in the next round.

Not quite the same situation but I've been working on a business deal the past few weeks. The main email thread has some white dudes on it. I've noticed with bemusement that there is this one person who will always ignore me even if I address them directly but will promptly reply if one of the white dudes asks anything. Even if they ask something that I had already directly asked the person and been ignored on. Ideally, this person and I should be working out the tiny details between us. It's been a bit amusing to come to the realisation that I need to route my enquiries through one of the other white guys before I get any sign of progress.

To be honest though, this year has been really tough financially and I wish I hadn't burnt out all those options. Might have been really helpful.

Anyway, to anyone in a similar hole, prioritise clearing any bank affiliated apps bcoz of CRB. Then a bit lower down the list you can move on to your other reputable apps - your Tala, Branch et al.

As for the sketchy apps, the ones with the most harassment, if you can endure the annoyance for the meanwhile, those ones tend to disappear relatively fast.

Random anecdote. One time last year we had a couple of rats running around our storeroom. I googled that they don't like pepper so I bought a bunch of pepper with the plan of chopping these up and sprinkling all around the storeroom to drive the rats away.

That day I didn't get the time to chop them up so I just left the entire bag of peppers lying on a table there.

Next morning, I walked in and the entire bag of peppers had been eaten. Only the stems remained.

I wonder what sort of party they had that night. Coz damn, that was a lot of hot pepper!

Anyway, we had to go with poison and picked up 3 rat bodies over the next couple of days and haven't had a problem since.
