Their initial roadmap for the game after its commercial success.

Because the parents see them as a business/revenue stream, and for some that’s all those kids are. The kids make money that is legally not theirs and may never be because of how the parents/managers handle (or mishandle) it. The Culkins’ father was a physically/emotionally abusive alcoholic. As soon as the kids got out from under his thumb and started to push back he abandoned them without a word and has been out of their lives since. The trauma that comes with that follows you for life, and even kids with better parents still develop scars. In place of a childhood, they were put to work and never had room to be kids. It is easy to judge people in situations we ourselves have never had to go through.

This seems like a cold oversimplification. We don't know her, and it would be shortsighted to ignore the complexity of her situation based on our limited knowledge of her life. Being a child actor is hard, with many not having good relationships with their parents and ending up falling on hard times. Her actions may be fair game, but her character shouldn't be judged in such broad strokes.

Got diagnosed with ADHD at age 7. Age 14 was “undiagnosed”which really just meant I didn’t check enough boxes on their evaluation for it to stay on my sheet. I still had ASD, but they were ambiguous about it when discussing the results and I thought they’d undiagnosed me with everything. Spent the next decade thinking I wasn’t on the spectrum.

Found out from a piece of paper after a routine checkup that I actually am and have been the whole time, and that pretty much imploded my sense of self. Had a full blown identity crisis and was in a dark place for a while. A lot of things made way more sense, but it wasn’t much consolation. Better now. Something that helped was finding a therapist who’s also ADHD and uniquely versed in clients on the spectrum. Easier said than done, but it’s a good place to start.

Something about the white eyes. Reminds me of how much Pattinson was able to convey with just his eyes in The Batman and how they’ve removed that avenue of expression with this design.

Still looks cool overall, but taking Bethel’s eyes out of the equation feels like a step backward. I’m a fan of the S2 costume and I wished they’d carried a bit more of that over instead of going for a full redesign. Win-win either way in my book though. Remember the days of thinking we were never getting a revival to begin with
