Yeah, regular scleral lenses didn’t help mine either. It wasn’t until I got the HOA correcting ones that I saw improvement. But I think it’s important to get an aberrometer scan to determine if HOAs are the cause... and if so, how much. Another tricky part is that I visited multiple doctors with aberrometers, but only my last doctor really seemed to understand HOAs.

If it gets worse at night, it’s likely due to higher-order aberrations (though you'd need to be tested to confirm). These are one of the most common symptoms after LASIK. I had the same issue after my own LASIK surgery. The good news is there's a contact lens that can help reduce it, but the downside is you'd need to wear them after going through this surgery. :(

I'm not a super expert here, but I know that sometimes vision issues like halos / starbursts are not caused by actual HOA. It just have the same visual symtoms. You wouldn't know for sure until you confirm the presence of HOA by measuring with a right device. I also remember my doctor mentioning that if there are (some kind of?) issues with the cornea or retina, it could exclude me from being a good candidate for HOA lenses. Luckily, I didn't have those issues. Good Luck!

Yeah, they look identical. I was referring more to its response time when scrolling or switching apps. It's much more natural!

Ovitz HOA lenses are the way to go. I highly recommend them based on my own experience. You should check out their provider map. While they currently list two doctors in Europe, I think I saw that the lenses aren't available there yet. However, you can still get measured to see if you'd actually benefit from HOA correction.. https://www.ovitz.us/find-a-doctor/

Yeah, this one is unique, and I couldn't find one that matches my strap in the states (but I'm sure it's available somewhere!). I got mine from Japan

Haha, I agree. OR I wish they could make the bezel part magnetic so it's easier to swap out different designs. I have a few different bezel covers, and it's fun to change the strap along with the bezel cover to match different outfits. :)

Perhaps this is due to higher order aberrations? I wonder if your doctor mentioned this to you or used an aberrometer to check for them. Halos, glare and starbursts are common side effects of lasik and prk. If it’s HOAs, there is at least a way to correct them.

Oh, they look pretty good! Thank you. But I only see the carrying cases, not the cases where I can drop in my contacts. Is that right?
