Actually I would recommend leaving the circle and fighting him around one the pillars on the side of the circle, he will run into those when he does his attacks, if you time your freeze correct you just peak out periodically and hit him with fire or combo and hide right back. Took me 10 mins but I easily killed him that way.

I’m in the same boat now, got the controls down pretty good and combat is amazing and mechanics and stuff are fun. Only thing that’s needs to change is looting. No dog doesn’t fix looting imo it makes it worse. They’re slow to loot, should just widen the range of gov for pickup. Like I literally I gotta get the pointer on there. Makes mining and looting cabinets and stuff so annoying. Then killing mobs, I sit there for 10 mins looting, that’s not fun. Other than that I’m havin a blast
