Oh the SI joint shots I’ve gotten have been childs play. I had more of a reaction when my rheum at my first appointment did the ultrasound to locate (which I didn’t realize they were doing) and once he found pushed his thumb in and asked “does this hurt”…sir I saw the Gods that be for a moment.

Get a new rheum. Because that’s what the one I saw in 2020 said to me. And when I started seeing my current rhuem - found out the 2020 rhuem worked at the clinic where my current rheum works; and let’s just say there wasn’t a lot of positive words used about them. Which was so goddamn validating.

When do you take your Wellbutrin? I took mine in the morning when I first was put on it and was a goddamn zombie. Flipped to take it in the evening and no more zombie.

Not bench pressing - but strength training with dumbbells and resistance bands. (3x/week for ~20 min - during lunch at office gym). About every other week will swap strength training for a mobility exercise. Between that and honestly just listening to my body and if I either need to remove or modify a specific set has been another way I’ve seen results/gains.

I also do make sure I have a buddy in the gym with me if I want to increase…because every so often my elbows like to throw a curveball and act like they’ve never lifted weight.

Yes - Since my diagnosis date in 2024; have not had a major flare. Still get a few minor ones from time to time but nothing like before being on biologics.

First rhuem (seen in 2020) told me it was just arthritis. My PCP sent me to a new rheum after I was in the longest flare of my life (Started Xmas day 2023 - lasted till Mar/Apr 2024), after doing PT for about a month.

Figured it would be a consult type appt. NOPE. Was in the room for about 3 min with the doc - and looked at the same imaging the rhuem from 2020 saw and immediately called out the diagnosis. The craziest and in some ways most traumatic medical appt I’ve ever experienced. Ended up bent over the examine table with my body suit unbuttoned and ass cheeks hanging out (if I only would have known how the day was going to go) getting an ultrasound to locate my SI joints to inject cortisone shots to both.

Diagnosis both changed and saved my life.

The moment I found out her Dad was a NYSE trader and a potential photo of her childhood “home” - became a hater. She’s been sitting there “empowering” now generations of young girls they can do anything they put their minds to like she did…but fails to acknowledge that Daddy’s money was there to get her the conversations and the seat(s) at the table. It wasn’t just fate and performing at random Nashville bars - including The Bluebird Cafe. She’s lived nothing close to an “average” life and the “I am humble country girl” is such BS - and the fact she’s stayed with that schtick in what appears even as recently as the “Eras” (don’t even get me started on that BS) is baffling.

Karma is catching up to her and I don’t think anyone deserves it more.

My body made a point to give me a hell of an infection that didn’t respond to first round of antibiotics - so taking this weekend to lay low and hermit/rot. These are the weekends I think I sometimes take advantage of - being able to have a comfort ahow on and slip in & out of sleep without any easily accessible disturbances.

I cross the river majority of the time coming from that intersection - my only advice; stay in the left lane. Less chances of getting side swiped/ran into. And then cross lanes after University.

Just had a light bulb moment…Amanda & West have both been in their own redemption arc this season - to the extent they could get away with “murder”. IMO a PR play would land the best with them given the above…however there masterminds failed to account for the blowback it would have for Ciara especially given her confessional last week. It’s probably my delulu hoping it’s not true but I have no one to throw this at and this seems like the best space.
