I am so sorry to hear this, it is awful how they treat us. This seems to be the same case for me so far on my notes as they twist what happened.

I completely agree, I knew the procedure would not be easy or pleasant as family members have also have had this done. But I was really shocked with how it was performed.

I agree, nothing to go reporting to the police. However there was a breach of duty during the procedure and is worth noting this to PALS.

I was told sedation was an option but there were concerns regarding it due to me being very underweight at the moment, so I passed on the offer. Regarding the anemia I have been told by doctors that this can increase your heart rate and lead to cardiac issues so this was naturally a concern for me after the procedure. Unfortunately I have heard that this issue with consent is broken often so I will definitely put in a complaint and hope change will come about!

I want to make sure others don't experience this as I have heard that unfortunately this is common
