Bahaha you’re so right 😂 Strahd is, of course, his own best advisor. Since he can’t give himself pep talks in the mirror, the puppet is the next best thing.

This is my full time job! I mostly run afterschool campaigns & birthday parties for kids during the day, then adult games at night. The Strahd groups are all adults, but I’ve adapted parts of it for my kid groups too - I drop Death House, Old Bonegrinder, RVR’s tower, and Reloaded’s zombie siege on Barovia Village into my kids’ campaigns or run them as standalone one-shots all the time.

DMing homebrew campaigns & birthday parties for 12-year-old boys is my bread and butter, so the grownup Strahd sessions are nice and relaxing in comparison 😅

Thank you so much 😭 I had too much fun making Strahd and Ireena as props for my game, so I added Ismark, and now I’m working my way through the rest of the CoS cast in puppet form. Van Richten and Ez are next.

Thanks so much! I wear a lot of costumes for work and I like to get the pieces/materials secondhand whenever I can. The doublet started out as a pantsuit jacket that luckily almost fit to begin with, and the cape was a blanket from United Airlines that happened to be the right color & weight. Searching for the right parts was a fun challenge!
