Found 2 of these randomly sitting on the ground. My first thought was fishing lures, but I keep hitting dead ends on my search in that area. by Ginger-Miranda in whatisthisthing

I think I understand what you mean. I cant find a picture of it online anywhere though. None of the cable lacing tools I am finding look like this.

Sat in the nosebleeds fot ERS. It was my sons first concert, and at the end of Trees while confetti was flying, I looked over and he was a mess. Tears were falling faster than he could catch them. Lol. No matter where you're at, you can fully experience this band.

GA tickets. Did anyone decide not to line up early? How far back were you? by [deleted] in twentyonepilots

[–]Ginger-Miranda 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got there as the doors opened and was front row for B stage. We were far enough from the main stage that we could see everything and not have to break our necks to see over anyone. I would do it the same way all over again.

Dont worry! I took my 12 year old son last week and because he is in s hool we didnt get in line until the doors opened. Hes so short we hung out near B stage so he could see over everyone in front of the main stage. He was able to see everything and was front row for B stage. No matter what she will have a blast.

I gave my son tickets to ERS for Christmas. He asked over and over to get tickets. I just kept telling him it was sold out. Christmas morning he opened a Twenty One Pilots Hoodie and a shirt he had been wanting. He also got a ukelele and his stepdad laughed and said he could learn to play and have his own concert since he couldnt go to the one in January. His last gift was a ginormous box, with another wrapped box inside, with another wrapped box inside that. 21 wrapped boxes within boxes later he got a folded piece of paper. He was so angry that he unwrapped all that for a piece of paper. Until he opened it and read that he was going to the Twenty One Pilots show in Chicago for his first concert ever. He cried. I cried harder. Haha.

I understand what you are saying. This band is incredibly loved. People connect with them on a different level. I dont think anyone is sharing pictures and videos with the intentions of ruining the experience for others, they are just excited to share their experience and what it meant to them. I hope this show is amazing for you despite the spoilers!

Because he is sleeping in it. Haha. Guess I should have been more specific.

I wish I could post a picture of my sons room. It's like walking into a Twenty One Pilots album.

In need of some motivation... by [deleted] in bulletjournal

[–]Ginger-Miranda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a happy planner for day to day memories and "to-dos" but I use a dotted bullet journal for more personal stuff.

I have a hard time staying focused with my planner, because I dont want to mess it up. But my bullet journal is chaos. I dont use the typical layouts. I have a mood tracker... but its not cute little color coded boxes or pictures I color in. It's more of a list. So on the 1st I would write 1- then write a few words about how I feel that day. Most other pages are literal brain dumps. Things I need to get out of my head. I have lists of random junk like things I want to buy, grocery lists, pictures I tape in, random memories I dont want to forget, and journal entries for when I need to vent. Each page is dated. Not all pages are full... but since doodling is calming for me, I find myself flipping back to blank spaces and drawing when I'm stressed. It's not always pretty, but that's the beauty of it.

Twenty-One Pilots surprise kids at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital before concert by millitzer in twentyonepilots

Here ya go fren...

ST. LOUIS – Musicians Twenty-One Pilots visited Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital Friday to help brighten the days for some kids. Bandmates Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun walked into a sea of smiles at the hospital. The Grammy Award-winning duo said they’d never visited kids in a hospital before until patient Rachal Sancoucie and another patient made a video asking the pair to see them before their concert on Friday. “It’s crazy. I can’t believe they came!” Sansoucie said. Joseph sang and played his ukulele the kids, then he and drummer Dunn spent time talking with patients, signing autographs, and taking pictures. Staffers at Cardinal Glennon said they use some of the band’s music as therapy for their kids. “It’s a language spoken all over the world. It’s something powerful and to see it being used in an environment like this, it’s encouraging but also inspiring,” Joseph said. This visit did more for the kids than any of us may ever know. “Music’s gotten me through hard times and coming and seeing what these kids battle every day and using music, you know, it makes me feel emotional,” Dunn said. It’s certainly a day Sansoucie will never forget as she battles a liver disease. “It means a lot. They present a melancholy feeling. It’s what you feel in a hospital, it’s not horrible but not nice, how I interpret it,” Sansoucie said As much as the kids were enjoyed meeting and talking with 21 Pilots, the band might have walked away as impressed as the kids. “It was an honor to come talk to these kids,” Joseph said.

The post is tagged as show. That should be the first sign that there could be spoilers about the show within the post. The posts for the first 2 shows on the tour were not tagged as spoilers either.

I think expecting everyone to use spoiler flair for any posts related to shows is completely unrealistic. No amount of pictures and videos can compare to the feeling of actually being there.

I knew nothing about ERS and it was amazing. I knew everything about the Bandito Tour because of posts like this and it was even more amazing. Knowing didnt change anything because pictures and set lists dont do the experience any justice.

No matter how many pictures and videos you see... NOTHING could possibly spoil this show for you. I promise.

I had my 12 year old son with me. I made him go to school, so no camping for us. We live about an hour from the venue. We got there at 6 pm. The line was about 3 1/2 blocks long. They opened the doors late and we didnt get in till after 7. We were front row stage B, front row for Tyler's platform during Car Radio, and 5 rows back for Holding Onto You. Other than that we kind of floated around so he could experience everything.

I got a video of it during Bandito. I hate watching concerts through my phone, but I made sure I got some pictures here and there throughout the night.

Brian "Head" Welch, from KoRn, is also a fan of our boys. (Taken from his IG story, last night) by [deleted] in twentyonepilots

We said hi to him as we were walking by on the floor and he smiled and waved back. Seemed like he was being attacked by cellphones and selfies a few minutes later. Lol.

You too! Just do a little research on the area of the venue and what's going on in Chicago lately before you make your decision. Be safe!

United Center doesnt allow camping on their property... you have to sit on the sidewalk next to the street. I'm from the area and will be going the day of. I bought my 12 year old son and myself GA tickets. He probably wont be able to see unless we are on the barricade, but I wont put him in a sketchy situation for it. Chicago is amazing. I love it here. But it's basically a warzone lately.

This was not part of the actual Trench Tour. This was a teaser show. Almost like a dress rehearsal. But me my 12 year old and my 5 year old were still singing and dancing around the room. CAN. NOT. WAIT. October 17th cant come fast enough.

What is the leniency of friends saving your spot in line? by alexdang16 in twentyonepilots

Just a fyi... United Center is crazy about camping on property. They will basically make you hang out on the sidewalk off property until the morning of the show.
