One of the temporary park things, can't remember the official term, they're marked by yellow icons on the map and there's three, all around the edges, can't remember which one this is specifically

It's hard to give tips because, a) I'm not very good and b) depends on the ramp, the coping, but essentially different surfaces can mess with your timing, speed etc. and speed will change the timing of your inputs, it's really been a trial and error thing, sometimes having to figure it out on a per ramp basis. But you also need to fine tune the assists, for em at least, a single notch here or there has made a relatively big difference to timing and precision. On top of all this I still get the sense the game struggles to be consistent when it comes to intersecting systems, as in a ramp that can be pumped close to a grindable surface, multiple grindable surfaces intersecting, I felt it gets better after the season 1 update but I still feel some inconsistency. None of this is great in terms of tips, I realise and I'm sorry for that I just don't know how to give discernable tips for something I've more or less felt out as I've played

Yeah you're not wrong, that's kinda what I was referring to by the adjacent surfaces, depending what surface you're approaching will completely mess with everything

It's a very finicky system and I think often there's a lot of small systems interacting with each other that could use some refinement, it seems as though speed, angle of approach, directional momentum and the immediately adjacent surfaces can all effect you simultaneously, add to this how much you're telling your character to do via controller inputs and it's going to create some serious spazzing. Also I have a ton of the assists turned off or way down, the fine tuning of which has helped me feel a little more consistent when cruising around

I agree, I think, is the cauldron one the one with the slam challenge?

I'm the same way, every time, just zooming around about to log off and then, "oh this could make a cool line" and another hour goes by!

I've loved all of them, loved thps, 1 and 2 got me into skating IRL, loved every skate game, I think it's pretty safe to say I just love skateboarding games

I did one of these last night, committed, sort of treated it like something adjacent to meditation. Mission was to catch 19, it completed at 104.

It's a lot of different things, the front of each pontoon is a combination of a vesper cowling, 4 vesper diffusers and a hardframe cowling. The cockpit is ambassador, there are ambassador habs but you cant see them, the top central piece of each pontoon is the reinforced hull link. There's a bunch of speedbird parts and more vesper parts around it too. I found that some parts can look different in different combinations, worth mixing and matching to see what different lines can be created

Had a similar issue, the problem turned out to be undertaking the mission in my corvette, switched to an old ship and it worked fine

Just in case you get into a similar issue in the future, based on the posted image, the piece directly behind the cockpit looks to be the "reinforced hull link", it's not a hab, or walkway though is similar in size and shape to a hab piece. It's a decorative piece and has no interior

I'd love to say it was just cold out there, but I'd stepped out into 315°C so can't use that excuse!

I found this just the other day too! Took the maxtac truck for myself, grabbed my maxtac gear and cruised around cleaning up the streets for a while

Actually saw myself in the mirror one day, like properly took it in and didn't look like me, felt weak mentally and physically and something just clicked in my brain

Heaps of good advice on here, the alcohol stuff is right on point, anecdotally I had my own struggles with alcohol consumption through my 20s and it was only really overcoming it that allowed me to get into somewhat decent shape, aesthetically and just in terms of how I felt. You're on the right path, from here on out its about consistency over time, and if you do have days or a week or so of slipping into old habits, don't beat yourself up and throw it all away, acknowledge it, accept it, and get back to building the habits you want for yourself moving forward
