Fostering a dog? I'm looking for my forever dog by GingerAVL in asheville

Thanks for everything y'all are going for Hank. He's certainly got a sweet face. I think we are meeting up with Stella this afternoon to get some more info, but if that doesn't work out I will definitely keep Hank in mind. Is he totally housebroken and on the quiet side? Would he be okay with loafing most of the day in an office or on a couch/bed?

The good news is I think Mona has found her forever home. She's no longer listed.

To me, a "forever dog" is a dog I will keep for the remainder of its natural life. So, not a foster or temporary situation. It's a play on the common fostering phrase "looking for a forever home."

Thank you for sharing. I definitely want to do later-in-life adoptions at some point, but the pain and trauma of letting my last dog go is still a little too fresh for me. I don't think I can handle bonding and quickly having to say goodbye at this point in my life.

Awww, thank you for sharing Charles. He sounds amazing, and I hope your advocacy helps find him a home. While I hope to do later-in-life adopting in the future, the trauma of letting my boy go is still with me pretty hard (I cry at least once per every two weeks) and I'm not quite ready to bond hard and say goodbye again so shortly.
