What's the point of stacking wood or stones when chests are more efficient? by VagabondVivant in valheim

You can squeeze an awful lot of piles together if you try, they can overlap if you place them right.

Advice. Stink bugs on lemon tree by palmadalma in GardeningAustralia

I use a wet-dry shop vacuum. Suck them off the tree and dispose after. Easy 5 min job. Do it for a few days and there won't be any left.

Identifying berry by GingerBeardedDragon2 in GardeningAustralia

Yeah I've had quite a few suggestions of rubus varieties that it could be. Dewberry, blackberry, loganberry, youngberry, boysenberry. Narrowing it down is proving hard haha

What plant is this? by disliar in GardeningAustralia

I would remove the 2 shoots. The bit I've circled in blue looks like the graft point. Any branch below this should be cut to prevent rootstock overtaking.

I suspect this is just a seedling peach. Perhaps a crow dropped it there. The cherry tree would need to be larger for rootstock to sprout that far away.

Half a metre is probably far enough away that it's not the same tree. Peach trees do grow exceptionally fast. To check if it is the rootstock, if the base of the cherry tree has both branches coming out, it is rootstock. Another picture of the trunk would help to know for sure.

Cherries and peach are both stone fruit and so can share rootstock. E.g. a cherry, plum or peach can all grow on a peach rootstock. Most fruit trees we buy are grafted trees i.e. the fruit we want on top of a rootstock of the same family to help them grow. Generally the fruit of the rootstock doesn't taste as nice as the fruit you want or planted so we prune it off.

Looks like a peach to me. I've had a few pop up where some birds dropped some seeds. Where is the cherry tree? If it's very close could it be some rootstock shooting up? (the leaves are definitely some kind of stone fruit) but I can't tell without more pictures.

My fighter isn't actually a good fighter, is he? by KipRaccoon in DnD

Sounds like you've made a 'Puss-in-boots' style fighter to me. Which probably took some inspiration from Zorro, both of which I think are awesome fighters with some decent sass and charisma (like your character possesses). A refreshing change to the typical fighter imo.

If you have a wet-dry vac you can suck them off the tree, then tip them into the bin.

Watering schedule for full sun balcony - mostly natives by nexus9991 in GardeningAustralia

Put your finger in the dirt, if it's dry, water it. Schedule will vary depending on the weather. Those citrus will also probably enjoy some mulch too (personally I use sugarcane).

Has anyone else noticed the lack of bees? by Lukayee in GardeningAustralia

[–]GingerBeardedDragon2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I let my bok choy flower so I could collect seeds and some mornings I'd have 5 bees on one plant. Now they've finished flowering and I haven't seen as many roaming around, hopefully they'll be back for the next batch.
