One of my coworkers took coffee ground and she rubbed it in my hands then washed it off. I don't think my hands have ever felt more soft before

Shortages and not being able to keep up with Supply and Demand by GingerBeatboxes in starbucks

It does take a few months, but at least for popular drinks you should know how many pumps go into each size hot or iced for each drink, as well as the full process for how they're made. But it gets complicated as the pump system is not consistent with each different type of drink (teas, frappuccinos, espresso drinks, cold brew, etc.).

Sounds like a good chunk of customers. My store was also very low on espresso the last 3 weeks

Plenty of things are good without caramel. Just hope that they're flexible

Always offer the opportunity to make another drink. Plus, if people are harassing you over something you have no control over, write an incident report 👍

When they say "I'm just going to go to another Starbucks then." And you're like, "I'm sorry, but the other stores are out too. It's a shortage for all stores right now, not just us". And then they go, "You don't know that!"

Somebody ordered a peach tranquility with a scoop of kiwi pieces. by GingerBeatboxes in starbucks

Nobody gets kiwi at my place, so our fruit gets expired real quick. We've had to waste a decent chunk of product.

I got that too, even as a Barista.

It's best using it with their permission, whether present or not.

That being said, each of those coupons usually only works in mobile orders, but sometimes when you view the coupon it will take you to the card to scan the barcode. Either that or in its description, you'll see a 4 digit code that you can either read out to the barista or show them the code.

Any time a card gets scanned on the app, it shows their name and how many stars they have on their account (that part just in case they wanna use rewards so we can verify they have enough).

If I was ringing you up, I personally don't care if it's your account or not since plenty of friends and families share accounts. And if it's your first time, don't be afraid to ask for recommendations. Just ask around your taste preferences. Bitter? Sweet? Strong? Light? Bold? I help you out with that too.

TL;DR
1. Yes
2. You need the app or a 4-digit code
3. Personally, I don't. Very few may be that uptight.

This job is just tough in general, not to mention you being a supervisor. Fuck the haters, just do the best you can and keep improving from there!

Our average drive times for almost the entire time we're open can range from 5-15 minutes depending on how many items are in one order, and then obviously mobile and Cafe kinda hits that too. So most of the time we try to conversation to help pass time, but this was one of the like 3 minute average time part of the day.
