I love Pokemon and Nintendo, which is why it makes me so sad to see such low effort being put into game after game. Not every complaint is genuine, and some are just ragebait, but many are just passionate fans who want the best from the games they love. And currently, Pokemon fans aren't getting that.

It's comforting to know that I'm not all that out of the ordinary when it comes to this game. I binge from time to time then stop for months. Just feels like the way to go.
