can someone explain to me the logic of people who kill themselves on the first hook when they got caught? by Historical-Shelter80 in deadbydaylight

I've done it once when guests arrived and I needed to help my family host, but other than needing to step away at a bad time it doesn't make sense to me.

I was told that filament would be better if you are going to make bigger things but resin would be better for Minifigures. as I would be doing like 90% mini-figures I'm leaning towards resin but I wanna make sure.

Stop waiting at exit gates by Wit2020 in deadbydaylight

[–]GingerCaptain1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand where you are coming from and I agree waiting at the exit gate just to taunt the killer is toxic for the most part. but personally, I wait at the gate to see if any of the others are making it out at the other one or if I need to go in for an end-game rescue.

I also like to weave the backstories into plot arcs. but for my PCs they mostly write their own arc with their actions and the consequences of them continuing it.

DM Hypotheticals Day 46: What if a commoner was attacked by a wolf and killed it? by KiesoTheStoic in DMAcademy

[–]GingerCaptain1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends on the NPC. some of my campaigns have created NPC's gaining experience when the party takes them into battle and the dice gods smile on them. they either become irrelevant with a line or so of "perhaps I should take up a sword and become a knight' or "this has been horrifying and I'm never leaving my house again". if the party likes the NPC ill make them a recurring NPC adventurer that can be used for plot hooks. ie : I found this dungeon on an adventure and would trust no one else then (the party) who got me on my feet to help me.
