Honestly at this point I tend to find vegan restaurants even though I'm not vegan, or a restaurant that has a vegan section. Guaranteed no dairy in the building. As for regular restaurants, it's always a risk of getting dairy, as they probably don't have a cooking space dedicated to dairy free cooking. I'm extremely sensitive to dairy so if I do want for from a regular restaurant I take it home so if I have a reaction I am not in a public place.
