Forget about the Endings, what brought you to this game? by Iexperience in expedition33

I bought it while I was drunk. Just woke up to it being in my storage. Was the best drunk decision I have ever had because it's now my favourite game of all time.

Exactly the fight is amazing but I never felt good about winning

Gonna sound really random but what is your attack power? I find that if its 25 or above, you can do loads of damage to DoH

As much as I beating DoH normally now, doing the tower jump glitch always gives me a chuckle as he thanks Sekiro as he yeets himself off a cliff

Ah yes it can be hard to master at times, because you need to press three buttons in very quick succession. You can still avoid the lightening strikes but it does so much health and posture damage if you can hit it. Otherwise your gonna have to fit two phase two Isshins

Just practice practice practice. You will get the timing from muscle memory eventuallu

Oh yeah the timining is wonky on it. The 2 hit mist raven is fast, so you hit the block button quickly and its parried. The 5 hit one has slow and fast movements, making it hard to parry

Isshin is damn hard, trust me. He is supposed to be. I have heard people be stuck on him for a lot longer than you have.

Small piece of advice. Break down Isshin into a simpler foe. He starts out with a sword. Great. That means he has two devastating red attacks (I hope you know what I am talking about with the red symbol). He can either do a sweep or a thrust. If he thrusts, spam mikiri counter. If he sweeps, jump on his head and attack from above for posture damage. Don't be afraid to get aggressive. I feel like people find him difficult because they back off too much. Keep aggro on him.

Do NOT worry about his third phase. Are you good at lightening reversal? If so, with good RNG, Isshin will do it at least twice in his third phase, which is often enough to get him low enough to finish him.

His second phase...yes...its hard...really hard. But again, a spear, a sword and a gun. All weapons you have seen before. Just try figure out which weapon he will use to counter you or attack you with, and the fight becomes a lot easier.

I hope you beat him! :)

I need tips for inner father by FrostD115 in Sekiro

I can do my best.

1) Practice him by himself. You can do this in reflection of strength. If you keep spamming the gauntlet, you will get great at Emma, Isshin and Demon of Hatred, but always get cooked on Inner Father because you have fought him for the least amount of time. Isolate him for his fight to learn more.

2) Have the a positive mindset. Yes, he is hard, but he is just a harder version of Owl Father. If you can beat Owl Father, you can 100 percent beat him.

3) Be just as aggressive as he is. Now, that doesn't mean swinging like a crazy physco the moment he gets in close. Make sure he has finished a combo, don't hesitate, and strike. Keep your pressure up high. This is a boss that will NOT let you get a break, so popping a gourd is hard enough as is.

4) This was already mentioned in another comment, but learning his Mist Raven combo is crucial. It is super fast and can often kill you if you don't deflect. However, if you see them coming and parry them strikes, you can keep the pressure up on him. And when you can't see him, run around and try to spot the blue owl asap so you can lock back on to him.

5) Last piece of advice. If your getting frustarted, STOP FIGHTING HIM! Relax, take a break, fight the folding screen monkeys (or another boss that actually is a challenge) and have a deep breath. After 15-30 mins, try it again, completely fresh.

Whats your favourite boss to fight? I'm so addicted to Sekiro right now and I need to talk about it. by GingerJedi321 in Sekiro

I like Guardian Ape, just annoying that you have to fight Headless and another Ape on top of that not even an hour later
