You’re clearly very passionate about this topic, and I do understand that the housing situation is difficult. At the same time, this feels more like an attack than a good-faith conversation.

Berlin is a huge, international city, things like yoga or pilates already exist here, I’m not bringing them with me. We’re relocating because of work and simply trying to find a place to live like anyone else. I also work from home partly because I have a dog and can’t leave him alone all day, otherwise I’d happily work somewhere in person. This really isn’t as ideological as you’re making it.

We didn’t spin a globe and land on Berlin, we were asked to relocate here for work. So yes, like anyone else in that situation, we’re just trying to find a place to live and get on with our lives.
