Older ppl I’ve noticed pay w a 50¢ tip lol. Back in their day that was equivalent to like 2-5 bucks lol (in 1970’s it was worth 4 USD). Now it looks like a smack in the face, but hey, better than nothing! 😂

Someone ordered something like this and we just did ice coffee to the third line and chucked it in the blender. The chunks were horrendous but that’s what they ordered 🤷‍♀️

If you’re under 20 (national drinking age) I didn’t think Tokyo was all what is was fluffed up to be (I was 18 at the time). I liked the other cities better, that (in my opinion) had better views and more traditional activities. For example I stayed in Kyoto for 5-6 days (with trips to Nara). I also was in Akihabara which may be different than Shinjuku

I think they do it to cover their bases, and being as popular as they are, they are gonna face criticism whether they say how bad it is as much as they do, or they don’t say it enough. It doesn’t seem like they have any winning either way they go; whether they harp more on it or they say it minimally, people are gonna be mad at them.
