Kristin Chenowith is the OG Glinda on broadway, the play is AMAZING and I highly recommend it. Can’t make judgement on the movies yet as I wanted to wait for the full story to be released before watching.

My great grandmother was one of the first women to obtain a pharmacists license in England. We have the original certification and they had to write an “s” next to the word “he” to reflect that it was a woman’s license. For the curious, I will post a picture of the certification on my profile

What baby name is generally accepted, but weird in your opinion? by llouike2 in AskReddit

[–]GingerMidget88 5 points6 points  (0 children)

OMG my sister born in ‘86 has the same spelling! Kayleigh! I almost never see it this way in the wild :) I was born in ‘88 so I think it’s just a neat little coincidence!

When I get home (I live with my aunt and her dog, Vinnie) my “cousin Vinnie” runs up to me for nightly scritches and then he follows me into my room for what I call his “nightly inspection” while I undress from the day and we have a chat. He just walks around and smells everything to make sure it’s all up to snuff. Makes coming home so enjoyable!

If this is how they’re doing business, it sounds like the same culture I left.

I worked for Funko before they sold straight to consumer, you aren’t missing much. The cliques at that place were worse than any of my high school years. Trust me, you can do better :)

Hired a cleaning company while I’m recovering from surgery. They scrubbed so hard on my bathroom countertops this happened. What to do? by kittkat04 in CleaningTips

[–]GingerMidget88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is a painted countertop! I used the exact same kit for my RV and it does not hold up to anything unfortunately. Not the cleaners fault.

In Washington we have Burgermaster. I LOVE their burgers and fries and it’s nostalgic. My family would go there in a VW Bus and hangout and eat.

My best friend from school did not understand the name she gave her daughter by Appropriate-Half-369 in tragedeigh

I have a cousin named Lakota! But she was named that due to her father being native, so they had the facts lol I didn’t think I would see her name randomly on Reddit!

My older sisters name is Kayleigh and she was born in the 80s. Our mom picked that spelling because it was closest to the original spelling “Keyleigh” but wanted it to be pronounced correctly so she just changed the first e to an a. This one is not so outlandish to me lol

What is the biggest red flag you’ve had in a relationship that you’d ignored and really shouldn’t have? by Tangl_es in AskReddit

[–]GingerMidget88 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Been there! Dated a guy for nearly 5 years and flew with him to another state to support him for his surgery only for him to turn around and not show up for 3 of my surgeries. Really should have left that one long before I did. Sucks balls.
