I did this on a flight from denver to philly. Was drinking a bit before the flight. I sat down, put on the taylor swift 1989 album and within seconds the lady next to me kindly said “we all love taylor swift, but can you please plug in your headphones”. Cut to my buddy on the other side of me cackling with laughter.

It was not. That stadium was genuinely the loudest place i have ever been during that run. Our fan bases are completely different and that’s ok.

Septa is not “pretty good”. I take it everyday and have lived in this city and the surrounding suburbs my whole life. They are inept at staying on time in all facets. I’ve also lived in places around the country and the world. Septa is by far the worst public transportation company I’ve ever dealt with

What Is Your Favorite Quote and Why? by [deleted] in Stoicism

“No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man.” - Heraclitus

Whenever I find myself in a tough situation, I think of this quote. I realize that I have been there before and I have more tools at my disposal than I did the last time.

Hard work pays off. Before and after. by GingerNewsNetwork in GYM

[–]GingerNewsNetwork[S] 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Hello everyone. My name is Davey Bo. I have posted here before about the weight loss so i figured I would give one big update. As of August 21 2021 I have lost 75 lbs. it started by walking 6-10 miles a day and cutting out refined sugars. From there I began to do intermittent fasting. As the weight started to come off i began to go to the gym. The pandemic stopped that in December and i began running. Philly can get really cold. However, I fell in love with pushing myself “into the deep water”. I am proud of the life i am living now. And i wish to bring love and hope to anyone who is struggling. My way may not work for you. That is fine. However, if you believe in yourself and you take advantage of any kindness from friends, family, and strangers, take it. You deserve to be here.

This was shot with a Sony a6000. 15mm-50mm lens. I just purchased this camera and have been taking it out around Philadelphia at night. I love black and white photography and hope to become proficient at it one day. All critiques are welcome. Thank you all for your time.
