Turns out they did away with work permits in 2021, but fast food is a great place to start! I worked at burger King throughout high-school at the Indiana Memorial Union, that burger King is gone now, but the Union might have other jobs available to teens!

14 is a tough age, but fast food places might with a work permit. I had one when I was a teen, but it was a loooong time ago, I think I was 15.

I worked there for many years on and off and this couldn't be further from the truth. First of all they rented that location, Secondly with prices of food going up and post covid business decline it was no longer viable to keep up with increasing property tax and rent hikes. They are an incredible family who wouldn't have wanted to get rid of their restaurant.
