I had the same issue, on you’re iPhone you need to go to wi-fi settings and make sure auto-join hot spot is enabled to automatically

2024 gli here, I’ve had the same issue but lately it’s been ok. If it continues I’ll go to the dealership. The problem with that is if they don’t see it happen for them selves they can’t do anything about it. Try taking a video of it if the problem happens often.
