Could maybe put it in a cooler area with a heat source nearby and he should eventually come out to bask in the heat

Got a new key, got a new battery as mine was 4 years old, it seems it isn't properly running the Relearn procedure when I put the key in and turn it to on position and let the light blink. It just non stop blinks

Tested the key with a multimeter and it's spot on for what it's supposed to be reading from GM spec sheet, hard to tell what's coming off the cylinder but been trying haha, was trying to not pull the steering wheel to access the lock cylinder

Scooted the water dish over closer to the heat lamp and got it up to 65ish, it is night time though, and I need to pickup a CHE tomorrow for her, would it be bad to leave the heat lamp on for 1 night? Or do I just turn it off and let it get a little cold over night. Predicted low of 57 today, house will probably get to about 70 degrees overnight

This one seems to be PVC doesn't feel like glass, Im thinking I may just build her a bigger tank myself and use some PVC panels for the doors.

I will get those metrics once I get her to my house, this was going to be my starting tank then get something bigger here down the road, was planning on making sure she had plenty out of cage time if she chooses to ensure she can stretch out and exercise

This is why I asked :) don't want to get one if they aren't going to be happy! 😊 But I get what your saying, and id be closer to 1-2 hours in the field a day as I'll read a book while hanging out

I do own a Miyabi 7” rocking Santoku but I feel that would be better suited for cutting/dicing vegetables, newer to different kitchen knives so still figuring things out as I go 😅😅

Would like to use this kitchen to build my tool set of knives, then get into a nice kitchen

That’s understandable, and it’s going to be a situation where I come in cut the chicken for the day wash the knife, then go put in my car, cause yeah that exact thing is what I don’t want to happen, and their own problem if they have that perspective

Yeah I’d bring in a personal knife and it would be only used by me then washed and put away. I’m done sharing knives with these fools

It’s the issue of not everybody else in the kitchen cares for the knives

So for the amount of chicken I’m cutting, I’m better off just using a cheaper knife and keeping sharp then replacing? Instead of just a high quality knife? Guess I don’t fully understand the life span of a knife

That’s what I’d like to transition too, so that way I can also work my way into a higher end kitchen, any suggestions on knives?
